    the tv would turn off then on by itself, the led didn't blink, it would just go on and off with the set. now the set sizzles when turned on then goes off by itself after about 5 sec

    I have the same problem, my green power light blinks 3 times? Fixable?

Does it continue to turn off then on by itself? Does the led flash if you try to power it back on again when it shuts off. If so how many times does it blink? Please respond to this same post when responding.

My rca d52w19b is messed up. i took off the back cover and when your looking at the back of it when you turn it on it sizzles and spark near the left bottom corner then shuts back off. Is it worth fixing...
you can get a replacement deflection board from www.tvrepairworld.com thw deflection boards are 179.00 and have a 6 month warranty.

Sounds like a coil is vibrating or a component is bad causing the transformer to whine. Could possibly just need soldering.

ON Deflection board there is 3 capacitors that most of the time will cause set not to startup cp150-cp114-cp120. values 2200uf 16v, two 220uf 35v, you buy caps at Radio Shack.
