That means that if too much power is going to the speaker or extraneous signals are being picked up by the wiring, it can come through the speakers as static. Stopping static requires finding and eliminating that extra electricity from transmitting through your speakers.
If you're still hearing distortion, turn down the volume on your amplifier until the distortion goes away. If the volume is too low to be easily heard, the problem may be that your amplifier produces too much power for your speakers to handle or that your amp and speakers have different impedance ratings.
Based on what you have tried if a buzz or loud static via the speakers you have something wrong in the audio output circuit of the set--problem here is that circuit may be part of the Main board that processes all signal---a look inside---following the speaker leads back would lead you to that board.
A simple thing to do to narrow it a little (you may have done this) is with sound all the way off put your ear to the internal speaker--hear anything at all like a deep hum?
Depending on age of set and cost of the board likely bad it may or may not be a do it yourself repair.
Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast.Here's the instructions to replace it :http://www.fixyourdlp.com/guides/samsung/bp47-00033a.php It's major symptoms are clicking,electrical sounds,shuts off and on and get the lamp indicator. But if you don't hear any strange noises,tv is around 6000 hrs,2-4 yrs,It's major symptoms are clicking,electrical sounds,shuts off and on and get the lamp indicator, it could be time to replace the lamp.The lamp you need is 915P049010. you can find it here: http://www.discount-merchant.com/Mitsubishi-915P049010-Lamp-Replacement-p/mitsubishi-915p049010-lamp.htmHave a blessed one!
Your TVs tuner tuned a little off frequency. It could be as simple as having cable box on where you have good picture but fuzzy sound, use the TVs remote to change the channel and then change it back to proper channel. If that doesn't fix you may have wrong tuning type selected in channel set up menu.
was the lamp blown if it was blown you could be hearing the ballast
if the lamp was not blown and the new one did not fix it the red light indicates the door there is a little switch when you put the door back on if you look at it it may need to be adjusted so it will connect with the door if that is not it you could have a fan that is not turn if it is making a real loud constant humming noise while it trying to fire the lamp you probably have a bad color wheel
what are the indicator leds on the front doing? if all 3 leds are blinking then it's probably the color wheel ,lamp or the dmd board, if you turn it on and it goes through a series of shut downs then the leds blink, it's probably the lamp or dmd board.
Good Day;
Try resetting the TV by unplugging from the wall A/C outlet for 3 to 5 minutes, plug back in. No fix? Your TV's LAMP needs to be replaced. Part number; UX21516, for Model 55VG825.
Good Luck, big IRISH.
This indicates a problem in the power supply either the low voltage switching supply or the High voltage power supply. The sounds you hear is the shutdown circuit activating, I would not suggest that you try to repair this problem because of the dangers involved. I would suggest that you take it to a qualified TV repair shop. This problem should not cost you much, however it is the best choice for the problem you described.
