I need ikon plasma TV 32 inch remote control

If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites.

Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

Power Surge

charlie the proble has something to do with the tv guide here is a response from an older post Un plug the power to the Plasma Screen and also to the Media Receiver for ten minutes. Disconnect the off the air antennas both A and B. After ten minutes plug in the plasma screen then the media receiver and turn on wi the remote control. You should now be back in operation. I was. Also It may not be a bad digital tuner. The TV Guide feature is active even when the zip code is set to all 0s so if you have an over the air antenna attached the TV will look for the TV Guide info and if it can not find it because of a weak signal or the chanel it is tuned to does not carry that information the TV thinks that tuner does not work which triggers the 12 flashes. Also on power up the gray box with the waring message "Plasma Display Starting Up, Please Wait" appears and the screen is blank.

hello,

You need to check the output voltages of the power supply to see which one goes off. It may be due to short circuits some where. If otherwise, Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I hope this will help in solving the problem......

When I hit the power button on my 32" Vizio Plasma

Hello,

You have a TV with a failing power supply board. There are parts in the power supply called capacitors that start failing and this causes the power supply to not be able to properly filter the voltages. When you keep turning it on and off the capacitors will finally hold a charge correctly so the voltages will stabilize and the TV turns on ok until the next time you turn it off. As time goes by the capacitors will degrade more until the TV will not work any more. If you can solder then you should be able to repair the TV yourself. We have a page on our web site http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/capacitors/
That explains what capacitors are and how to determine the bad ones that have failed. If you replace the failed capacitors in the power supply then you should have a working TV again.

Tv it turns on and off for 5 to 10 seconds and it wont turn on at all

This is a classic switchmode power supply shutting down for safety reasons, the TV has detected a fault, and to prevent, fire or explosion,it is shutting down the unit, you will need to get a "Quote" for repair, as there can be many many causes, this is a symptom only.

I have had a Hitachi 42" Plasma screen TV for almost 3 years and recently it has had problems. When you turn it on, the TV only stays on for about 10 minutes, and then the screen goes black with the...

The signal from the STU to the Hitachi box is going in the wrong direction.
Is the adaptor that you have switchable? If so, flick the switch in the
other direction and this will fix it. If the adaptor is not switchable get
one that is. Then set the STU output to RGB.

Hope this Helps. -CA
