The 9808 error is usually caused by a problem connecting to the iTunes store server. It can be something like the date and time on your computer being wrong and so confusing itunes or it can be a problem with your security software. It is often advised to Uncheck the box labeled "Check for server revocation certificate" in the security section under the advanced tab of your Internet Options settings.

1) Go into your Internet Options
2) Click the Advanced tab
3) Scroll down to Security
4) Uncheck the box labeled "Check for server revocation certificate"

Hope this helps. Please rate my response.

Everytime i try to put a song from my iTunes onto my iPod touch an error pops up saying there is an internal error in my iPod, or it says it cannot put the song on my iPod. Also when i try to play the song...

There are some mp3 songs that you can add to the iTunes Library but not to the iPod
This is a format issue i believe
if this its your case you should try to get again the mp3 or burn it from th CD again an then try to upload to the iPod

Unable to load from itunes on mac, getting error format message. why? how to resolve ?

If your trying to load iTunes songs onto an MP3 player, it doesn't work. iTunes music is NOT MP3 format. iTunes songs use a modified ACC file extension that is only recognized on apple products.

I cant log on to the itunes store I keep getting a message stating check internet connection and error (-9808) but I can get on the internet.

Make sure that you have the latest version of Itunes. Also go into Tab "Store" and "Deauthorize" then authorize.

Wont transfer over??

The problem might be that the USB cable is interupten in the middle. You can buy a new one. The problem could be as simple as that.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall your ITunes? It sounds as though your ITunes is corrupted.

Cant get into itunes store

Download the latest iTunes to your computer and reset the iPhone. Then re-sync it.
Reset

To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. During this time, a red "power off" slider may appear and the screen may go black, but do not release Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.
Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
