My Dometic will only cool to around 78 degrees before the compressor starts cycling on and off. is there a way to adjust the thermostat so I can cool it down to 65 degrees?

I have a Dometik Duo Therm Brisk Air rooftop trips AC
circuit breaker when the weather turned hot. When circuit breaker is reset,
the unit will run for 5-10 minutes, cooling nicely, and then trip the AC
circuit breaker again.

Once the outside temperature went down, that evening, I tried it again.
The AC worked fine all night and the next morning, and then same thing cut off when it got hot.

Duo therm ac in my rv quit when the converter burned up does the ac need 12v to work?

there is a fuse located under the shroud on the roof AC on a circuit board that controls the thermostat to turn on the power to the Air Conditioner replace it it is marked F-1 or, on some F-2 etc.
the air conditioner works on both DC voltage for the thermostat and AC voltage for the compressor

Duo therm rv air conditioner repair

Sounds like thermostat is failing. There is a factory set resistor that helps the thermostat keep a 2 degree accuracy. Second possibility is that you have a fan or direct airflow from the cooling system, being devirted, that is allowing the cool air hit the thermostat on the wall.

Have a duo therm ac and the low ac and low fan not work -

Thermostat on wall, or manual controls at AC? Did it work for you on low before now? Reason I ask, is that normally they are only a 2 speed fan ( low and high) so if it's a wall thermostat and has been changed from original, perhaps it the way the thermostat is wired.

Installing rv roof airconditioner heat strip

I see what you see also in the manual. The difference is the Heat Strip package that part is optional and the 600212-001 with the optional heat strips becomes the new 600315-001 I talked to Dometic Duo-Therm and the models are the same but they both are not heat pumps but the new heat strip package comes on when told to go into heat mode when you change the thermostat to heat. The part you purchased will fit both model numbers you listed for your roof top air conditioner. Thanks, Sea Breeze

Problem with rooftop air conditioner duo therm brisk air box kit

Try having a professional check that the collant lines have not perished. Also have them check the thermostat and that there is actually gas in the system. The warm air suggests that the unit has no gas.

Duo Therm Thermostat

Hi there

I think this is a setting on your air conditioner, the air conditioner will turn off when the room is at the correct temperature and when the room starts to warm up, the air conditioner will turn back on. (You need to find the settings and change them from auto-adjust to manual-adjust)
