Most universal remotes have a self-tune facility and the details will be found in the instruction booklet. They usually also have a helpline which I have heard is generally fairly good.

Universal remotes tend to offer basic functions only and so you could be disappointed to discover only a replacement OE remote will perform the function you require.

Ah, the old universal remote isn't so universal anymore is it? Most "universal" remote controls were designed for the old tube type television sets. There are some seriously nice universal remotes for new flat screen TV's, but most of them are pretty pricey. The only reasonable flat screen universal remote that I've found (that actually works) is the Vizio HDTV Universal Remote. It's about $25, and believe it or not ... Wal-Mart carries it in the store.

try 032 or 132 or 11034 or 694.
These have all worked on various remotes including Dish Network remotes for the Durabrand DWT 1304 color 13" TV. Look at the Funai Corp codes and the Orion codes. Sometimes they work, Funai Corp makes Durabrand.

get a G.E universal remote with code search. do a code search for tv push chanel up untill the tv changes and push mute. the remote cost about $8.00

after you press the code search button you have to press the dvd button then enter the code
is the remote the rca systrem link?

We broke our remote for the Durabrand 13 inch tv, bought a RCA universal remote and that did not work. Just bought the radio shack 3 in 1 remote for $7.99 and it had the codes for the Durabrand tv and it worked fine. Hope this helps.

We bought a RCA universal remote and it did not work on the Durabrand. The Radio Shack 3 in 1 remote for $7.99 has the durabrand codes and we got it to work for us. Hope this helps.
