My brand new Panasonic Viera 65" Plasma model TCP65S2 all of a sudden would not turn on, and there is a blinking red light that blinks 7 times, pause, 7 times, pause all day long. I have tried unplugging the TV and I can use the ON button, but after it lights, the red light beside the power light just starts blinking 7 times over and over again. I have been reading on the net that this is a known and OLD problem with Vieras, and Panasonic has chosen not to address it. If so, I'll exchange for another TV. I'd appreciate your help. Thanks.

How can they charge a re-stocking fee when that's a defective set. They send them out for warranty repair or the distributor will credit their account and replace it. I guess if your in that situation, have them give you another one.How can they charge a re-stocking fee when that's a defective set.
