xheli 3 Ch Syma S006 Alloy Shark RC Remote Control Metal Frame Helicopter Logo
Posted on Dec 27, 2010

Hello, just been given a syma s006 for xmas, charged it up for max 110 mins as indicated in manual, though LED never came on to indicate full charge. LEDs do come on flashing when switched on at model. New batteries in remote controller, LED comes on steady orange when switched on. Helicopter does not respond to any input on the controller. Is there a way to calibrate controller to model or do I have a faulty toy? Instruction manual offers no problem solving options and is in broken english.

I thought this was the answer to my exact same problem. While it DID synch somehow (blinking lights stabilized) rotors still won't turn.

S107 charger light stays red all the time, doesn't change to green.

Hi,

Check the batteries are new or in good condition. Also charging time is approx. 30 mins check in the manual how long charge time is. We also have replacement USB mini chargers available.

Kind regards, Julian.

I can't seem to charge my S107 helicopter. I plug the USB charging cable into my computer, and then the helicopter itself, but have no indication that it is charging. Should I see a light on the...

You should see the orange LED glow when you first plug the cable in. Once you plug the heli in, the LED should go out. Once the heli is charged, the LED will come back on.

S032 won't fly higher than 0.5m. and for a few secondes. I bought 2 Syma S032 helicopters whith 3 lipo's. The first 3 a 4 times both choppers flow verywell. I have charged the batterie's so as told in the...

1) Ensure you're fully charging. Indicator light on charging unit should NOT get brighter at all when you unplug the helicopter. If it does, then plug helicopter back into charger until light stays the same when you unplug. Note: If you're charging with a usb charger and are using a laptop or the front side data port on your desktop, these may take several hours to fully charge as they are usb 2.0 and do not carry the full 5 volt dc charge. Use powered usb (3.0) on back of desktop, or get a usb/ac adapter. Normal charge time approximately 1 hour. Go by the light, though.
2) Don't run them dead. As soon as you can no longer maintain altitude, land and turn off helicopter. Fully discharging a Li/Po battery (particularly when it's new) will cripple it's ability to hold a charge, and can ruin them.

hope this helps

I brought a new syma s006 alooy shark rc heli and

Your should exchange the product at the store you bought it from for another one. the problem lies inside the syma. it must have been a defect that the company did not notice.

Battery charge indicator seems faulty.

Solved own problem. Bad conection between pcb and battery contact pins. Reheat each battery pin on the pcb carefully until solder reflow occurs then remove heat. PDA now repaired
