Sound driver hello i need a sound driver to install,i really ned help (dell xg280)

Completely remove whatever sound drivers you do have installed, restart, download this: http://ftp.dell.com/audio/R302718.exe

Once downloaded install the sound driver I have provided the link for. If it still doesn't work, please post back here with your DELL service tag. This can usually be found on one of the labels on the underside of the laptop. I may be able to help further if you can provide that information.

Click on audio and download the driver.
When downloaded you need to unzip the file before you can install it.
You may need to reboot after the installation has completet.

Hello Dear Friend.Being online really solves a lot of troubles same also for your sound drivers..Try searching with the model of your computer on the internet be specfic about your search ''Sound Driver for Dell Latitude''.if this does not give you the neccessary result head over to your local computer workshop and request for the sound drivers cd of your system or a drivers system restor cd i think this will help..

Go to dell.com/support inter the service tag number and tell it to search for your drivers. Also update the BIOS after all updates are done restart your computer to insure the system updates.

The problem that is the most common is the sound not working due to reinstalling xp what happnes is the original operating system has the original sound drivers on it so the new copy of xp would not have them
So what you will need to to get the computer on line and go to www.ac vinal ac 97. and download this audio driver this wiorks wonders on systems that has had the system redone and if the original drivers are missing it also includes a really neat eq and other sound goodies that are pretty handy ok?
