I am trying to transfer an e book from my computer tomy Aluratek Libre Pro e-reader. I have followed the instructions and the book is showing in my folder for books on my laptop. Everything is connected and the screen on the reader shows picture of computer and reader connectung. The transfer is not going through. Book does not show up on menu.

Need a new manual
Go to the Aluratek site: http://aluratek.com/products/ebook-readers and select your model.

There is a link to the manual just before the Overview section. The direct link for the Libre Pro is http://aluratek.com/media/uploads/AEBK01FS-AEBK01WFS_Manual.pdf (for the model that comes without the SD card).

The specs for your unit states that a 2 GB. SD card is included in your purchase. Also, you can buy up to a 32 GB. SD card or High Capacity SD card for it.

I had the exact same problem and what Aluratec told me to do is you have to reload the books from your Adobe Digital Editions on your computer and reinstall them on your libre Pro e-reader. I haven't done it yet as I am at work and have to wait until I get home. Hope this works.
