How to replace a arcade Big Buck Hunter Pro TV?

If your game has a CRT monitor you will have to stay with a CRT. You can get a great picture from an LCD or LED unit but the guns won't work.

I have the big buck hunter pro for my tv, ive tried to do the shootgun calibration from multiple tvs and stood as far back as possible and it still wont calibrate, the menu button will not work either

I'm having the same problem. I found that if I put the LED box on TOP of the TV, it will recognize the first target, but not the second or subsequent targets.
It looks to me like this will only work with a smaller TV. The angles seem too large on a big screen TV. I've contacted the manufacturer to see if my guess is right.

Playstation 3 not connecting to the tv, it did a system update last night, switched of, then went to use it today and would not work, kept saying no signal on the tv, can you assist in anyway.

Please try these following steps, they should bring your PS3 back to life :

Step 1. Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)

Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep as soon as you press it and then about 5 seconds later it will beep again. Let go of the power button when you hear this second beep.

Step 3. Wait for your PS3 to start.

This solution basically resets the video output back to standard definition.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa

When turning Buck Hunter Pro on i am getting an error message error 0x01 Loading Linux - 2.6.12-bs thei text keeps repeating on the screen.

You most probably have a hard drive problem, corrupt software or less likely a motherboard problem. First step is to reimage the hard drive. You need an install disk to do this. If one isn't present you can obtain one from a distributor such as Betson in the US or Brent Electronic in the UK. After turning the machine on open the coin door and press the DVD button on the computer to open the DVD drive's door. Insert the disk and close the door. Turn the power off then back on again. The software will now install, and follow any instructions. If the game doesn't run properly you will need specialist help. I would suggest sending the core computer to a distributor or specialist dealer for testing and repair.

When big buck hunter pro is turned on I'm getting system boot failure. This has happened a few time over the last month. The last time it happed I turned game off and it booted up. This time it is not.

Reimage the hard drive by opening the DVD drive door and inserting the recovery disk, which is obtainable from a distributor such as Betson in the US. Close the DVD drive door and power the game off then on again. Follow any on-screen instructions as the software installs. If this procedure fails or the game still gives trouble, you may have a failing hard drive. You could attempt replacement yourself if you feel up to it, or alternatively send the entire computer unit to a distributor or specialist dealer for testing and possible repair as necessary.

Computer turns on but screen displays "no signal"

I am an amusement arcade game technician. I have found that the Big Buck Hunter Pro arcade games that use DELL pc's are fine, but the ones that use the "generic" pc inside have a tendency to overheat, causing capacitors to fail on the motherboard. You need to replace the caps , or get another motherboard.
