Video images transferred to PC are not as sharp as when played back on camera LCD

How about different videos do they have the same resolution? If yes the problem here is not with the video from the camera it can be the resolution of your computer , because if the video card of your computer is not high and the resolution is also not that high video will not look sharp when play to the computer compare when play directly from the camera...

Hope that helps.........

Can olympus e500 record video?

Yes, the Olympus EVOLT E-500 digital camera is capable of recording video. The camera has the ability to record video in AVI format, at a resolution of 640x480 pixels, and at a frame rate of 30 frames per second. The camera also has a built-in microphone for audio recording.
It's important to note that the video recording function of the Olympus EVOLT E-500 is quite basic and the camera is not designed primarily for video recording, so the quality of the video may not be as good as a dedicated video camera.
Also, the camera firmware is quite old and it may not be compatible with the latest video editing software. It's recommendable to check the software compatibility before recording videos.

Un able to transfer video to laptop

Hey! I am not sure what camera you are using, but I know that usually camera videos are HD videos in MOD, AVCHD M2ts, etc formats. Therefore, if you wan to play your camera video on your PC, you need to turn these HD videos to common video fomart, if you are using windows media player, you can convert them to WMV or AVI format. I personally use this Wondershare HD Video Converter which helps me convert camera video into other videos for payback on PC or some other portable media players such iPod, iPhone etc. You can have free try of this HD Video Converter at it's official web.
Hope that helps.

Fujifilm A350

Troubleshoot by connecting the video cable from the yellow A/V output port of the camera to the video input port of you TV to see if you get video image on the TV screen. You need to set the switch in your camera to video mode (middle) and PAL or NTSC. If you do not see video picture with the camera on then you know that your camera video/movie mode is not working.

Can't turn on my camera!

Hi..

I have a link and some information I found on the video option to your camera. This link is for the manual located on hp.com:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?product=371583&lang=en&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&

The following is how to stop video:
To stop recording video, press and release the Video
button again; otherwise, the video will continue recording
until the camera runs out of memory.

NOTE
If you have set the camera to Self-Timer or Self-Timer -
2 Shots (see Using the Self-Timer Settings on page 44),
the camera will start recording 10 seconds after you press
the Video button. However, with the Self-Timer - 2 Shots
setting, the camera only records one video clip.

After recording has stopped, the first frame of the video clip
appears on the Image Display. While it is processing, you can
delete the video clip by pressing the Menu/OK button

Good luck and please let me know if there is anything else i can hep you with--feedback would be geat.. thanks, d

Transferring PC videos TO a Sony Cybershot?

It probably won't work but here is something to try: Make a short video clip with the camera. Then look at the memory stick with the computer to find out the name of the video and what folder it is in. If the camera makes .avi videos, you will have to convert your home videos to the .avi format. Then rename the video to a name similar to the one the camera made. i.e. If the camera named its video Vid00023.avi, then you should rename you home video to something like Vid00034.avi. Then put your video in the exact same folder where the camera put its video. That will give it a chance to be recognized by the camera. But I doubt it will play in the camera.
