We just got one yesterday and its doing the same thing. We charged the battery all day yesterday...it Finally turned green and still does the beep 3 times and nothing else. So i put it back on the charger and now the light has been red for the past 4 hrs...not sure why it would still need to charge for so long when we haven't even gotten to play w/ him??? Play let me know if u find a solution. Huge bummer for my son.

Ok i have the solution, it happen the samething to my baby bigfoot .
First, flip down the toy "bigfoot". near the power button under his right foot , insert a pin, or any other pointing object, while the power is off. Holding the pin in the hole near the power button, put the power on back , next thing you will hear strange beeping noise, remember to keep the pin pushing down gently all the time until the beeping continue at least for 3 seconds, then take the remote control and start pushing every button, one by one wich leads to diferent funtions , and after this step charge the battery again and your big foot is ready again. thanks hope this help.

I was so excited when I read this post. I followed the steps exactly, but when I turned him back on, he just beeped three times again. Any other ideas on what to do? The toy is discontinued, the place I bought it from is no help, and the manufacturer has yet to respond. At this point, I would settle for a wiring schematic. It wouldn't be the first toy I've had to tear down and repair, but I would rather not sail in blind.

Okay, so I am now facing the same problem... I just followed the instructions step by step and Bigfoot made the beeping for all the 3 seconds... I have no put the battery pack on to charge.

I turned out having to take a more aggressive approach to the beeping issue. The company got back to me in early December, and offered me a $50 coupon usable toward the purchase of any Imaginext toy in exchange for the battery cover from the toy and the remote. They also told me the beep code I was getting was, in layman terms, a failure of one or more motors to respond.

If you do break into this toy, which they strongly cautioned me against, make sure you have the right tools. I recommend a digital camera with a viewer on it and a magnetic tipped phillips screwdriver. Work on it away from small hands, and on a large flat surface. Have a bowl nearby to hold the screws in. take pictures of each piece, and make sure you can see the picture, before removal. Only remove what you have to, and make sure the battery is disconnected. When you get inside, reconnect any loose plugs. Much like a computer, they can only fit one way. If you do this without a magnetic screwdriver, you will hate this toy by the time you finish. You are still not likely to be fond of it, as reassembly is not as easy as disassembly. Even if you fail, all the manufacturer will ask for is the battery cover and remote... unless you tell them you tried to fix it.

Whatever you do, don't tell them you tried to fix it. They warned me that would void any obligation they had to make it right. By the way, mine works great now. Two loose plugs. Makes you wonder what kind of quality control they had going there.

I just started having this problem after having the toy almost 3 years. I read the solutions and decided to try something my own. I turned the toy on, let it finish beeping and the hit the power reset button....I pushed his tummy and he's working now :) hope this helps!

When you push big foot's chest his mouth opens but nothing comesout and then there's this buzz sound

From Fisher-Price Site

If Bigfoot stops working, check the following
  • Motor Stall - Was there any audible beeps from Bigfoot before he shut down: If audible beeps came from Bigfoot, a motor has stalled.
    • 1-Beep = arm motors stall
    • 2-Beeps = leg motor stall
    • 3-Beeps = head motor stall
To Fix the Motor stall:
    • Remove any obstruction from Bigfoot's path.
    • Turn the product off and then back on to restart the product.
    • If this stall condition continues to happen when no obstruction is present, there is a malfunction with Bigfoot. Please contact Consumer Relations.
In my case I had 2 buzzes and I forced the legs into the stand position. That did the trick.

New Bigfoot toy for XMAS buzzes three times and stops working. Reset with power switch and does the same thing repeatedly. Made sure battery was fully charged.

There is a pen hole beside power switch........with the power off press and hold this button (with a safety pen or something)....while holding the button turn it on and hold the button for at least 3 seconds. Then push every button on the remote, then charge the battery until the indicator is "green". That will fully reset your Bigfoot.

Problem with imaginext bigfoot. it beeps twice and then doesnt do anything else. We've charged the battery and changed the batteries in the remote. Just got if a month ago and used it twice

We just got one too. I was on clearance but NIB . Went to use him for the first time and he did the same thing. Beep's twice ( motor malfunction or something according to FP website) and thats all. VERY DISAPPOINTING! It was late in the day so I couldn't call Customer Service, but found a tip on here to reset it with a pin or pen in the hole by the switch on his foot . ( Have him turned off insert pin into hole till it clicks, then switch him on while holding the pin in. You'll hear it make sounds for a while and then beep at the end. After that test him with the remote and see if he does anything new. ) We did this and it enabled him to do a few things more than what he was doing but still no where near full working order. The next day I called Fisher Price and basically they told me it was irreparable. And offered to send me a voucher. Well, thats all well and good but my son wanted THIS toy! Of course it has been discontinued too. Mama won't quit till she has tried everything, so I break out the toolbox and remove the 10 screw on BigFoots back and then remove his chest piece . Its still attached by wires so I had to be careful, not to damage that connection. Inside I saw the circuit board and although I know NOTHING about electronics like that, I wiggled each connection and made sure they were tight, blew on it in case there was any dust and just did a general gentle jiggle of all the parts. What did I have to lose? LOL. And you'll never believe what happened... HE WORKS GOOD AS NEW NOW!!!! I kid you not. He does everything he is supposed to do and my son loves him. So, I all I am saying is, its worth a shot to open him up and try it. I can't promise it will work for you , but I can promise it worked for me. Good Luck!

How do i change my sony playstation3 from high definition to normal television

Hold the ON/OFF button on the system while its turned on. It will turn on, then back off, and beep a few times. Thats a soft reset. Should do the trick and wont hurt anything. Wont lose anything either.
