Had the same problem they say there should have been a kit to handle the noise from the wheel barring in the fan...if you complain they will get you one... i needed a new light engine...notice no fan noise.....which i thought was normal...repair man said no. was not....new light engine come with a kit that blocked that fan noise.

If is is the fan it is because there is another part they needed to put in to keep the noise from the wheel barings coming through...there is some kind of kit ...i know cause i needed a new light engine and notice no noise from the fan... repairman said they now come with a kit that surpresses the fan noise.

The buzzing noise would normally be either a fan or color wheel that is failing.

My samsung 42 inch hdtv is making a buzzing noise

First. The whirring or buzzing sound you hear is the Color Wheel and it needs to be replaced. Second, since I do not know when and if the original lamp has been replaced it is a good idea to replaced the lamp. The bad Color Wheel is the one causing the set to shut down.

MY HITICHI 50V500 HAS TAKEN LONGER to come back on after turning

The high-voltage transformer (same as power supply) is faulty. It is very common in todays electronics. The old one will have to be difused of all power with difuser. Then it will need to be soldered off and new one soldered on. You can get them at tigerdirect.com, shopjimmy.com, or partstore.com and others.

Toshiba 36zp18q buzzing noise.

Humming sounds come from the power supply and buzzing sounds come from other circuitry. Most likely a capacitor somewhere.

My Hitichi tv will not turn on. When the power button is pushed, the lights come on as if it was going to turn on. Then, the lights begin to flash as if the tv was turned off. After the lights stop...

This is known to happen. You could let it cool down for an hour. If it still persists, then it will need to be fixed.
You can also try unplugging the tv set for at least 4 hours to do a "hard reset"

Buzzing

The noise is caused by dust on one of the toroidal transformers(usually a round looking thing with wire wound around it). Go to the back of your television and try and pinpoint were the sound is coming from. Turn your television off and blow it out with compressed air if it is close to air vents in the television. If you cant see it you might have to open your television back panel.
