Hello

Run a couple of system self test on the refrigerator to see where the problem has occured

Inspect your condenser fan and get a multitester to test the thermistors if they are still in perfect order,if they do not give accurate readings you should replace the condenser fan and thermistors.

Also check out the fresh food evaporator fan if it has not been iced up as this can restrict air flow and make your refrigerator not to cool

The evaporator fan is behind all the plastic back wall and insulation.replace the fan and the thermistor near the top light and clean out all the ice.

Your refrigerator should now work normally.

SOURCE: The temperature display keeps on flashing and will

Either the fridge's controller is trying to indicate a failure, or a temporary power failure has reset the fridge and it's demo mode. Demo mode is the mode used in stores where the lights and stuff will work but the motor doesn't run. Exiting demo mode may be as simple as unplugging it again for a few minutes, but you should look in the troubleshooting section of your manual to find out for you specific model.

Samsung side by side refrigerator RS265TDRS started making loud propeller like noise on the cooler side half way up. Notice bunch of ice around the lights on the back wall of it. I unplugged the fridge for...

A COUPLE THINGS U SAY FREEZER IS FINE FRIDGE IS NOT? THE FAN NOISE MAY BE DUE TO ICE BUILD UP DUE TO A DEFECTIVE BAD DEFROST TERMINATOR. WHICH EVENTUALLY WILL BUILD ICE UP IN FREEZER AND FRIDGE? HINDER COLD AIR CIRCULATION. ANOTHER THING TO LOOK AT IS UR FREEZER AND FRIDGE THERMISTORS AND UR COLD CONTROL THERMOSTAT. EVEN UR AIR FLOW DAMPER CONTROL VENT AND KNOB SETTINGS? ARE THEY TO FAR OPEN OR CLOSED? ARE U ABLE TO HEAR THE FAN AND COMPRESSOR RUNNING? ANY CLICKING SOUNDS?

Flashing #4 on temperature display

flashing #4 is a communication error between the control board and the damper assy, usually it is the fault ogf the damper assy but if it is under mfg warranty, replace both, if you need to pay for the parts yourself get the damper first.

Freezer won't work in garage in cold weather

Modern fridge/freezers are built to automatically defrost themselves. To do this they require that the room temperature is well above freezing to allow the defrost to take place. If you site the freezer in too cold an environment it is unable to defrost itself and will eventually stop working. It sounds strange but if it is too cold the freezer cannot work. The solution is to buy and fridge/freezer that does not automatically defrost itself if you want it to work in a cold environment.

AEG Santo Fridge 3774-6KA

Check the damper between the fridge and freezer. It may be broken or frozen open. If this happens and you have a water reservoir in the fridge then it could freeze and crack - leak and then flood your house... Shut off the water supply until you get the problem fixed.
