WE HAVE AN OLDER LG BH200 BLU-RAY DASC PLAYER THAT WILL NOT PLAY A NEW BLU-RAY DISK. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM AND HOW DO WE FIX?

LG BD560 BD Blu-ray Player wont play most of my photo files from discs or my external hard drive

Just wanted to let you know that we are having the same problem with our older DVD player. It works on our newer one through - very frustrating! I haven't seen any solutions to this either.

Hi. I have Toy Story on the Lg bd 560 bluray and discovered the same thing. There are two ways that you can get it to play. Go to factory reset in the menu. This is called initialize software on my player. It should now play without any problems. The only trouble is that if you turn off your player and back on again, it will not work until you do another factory reset. The easiest way to solve the problem is to disconnect your internet connection[no more factory resets required]. For some reason this movie does not like the internet being connected on my bluray player. I have told LG Australa about the problem and they will probably fix it in another firmware update. All the best.

Is the BD-R home made?

Some players wont work well with that type

For LG firmware go to the LG technical website in the support area you will find them.

About unlocking the region just go to the HD forum webpage then in the search windows engine type"bh 200" you will fin then everythings about this matter.

Actually you can use the DVD region hack CD designed for the LG BH200.
it works fine!
You can download it fron the HD forum.

unfortunately I do not have yet the trick about how to turn region free the BDR part
