DeWalt Heavy Duty Cut-Out Tool (roto zip) DW660

You have no selection for what I am looking for. I am trying to find 5/32 collar for the DeWalt Heavy Duty Cut-Out Tool, model # DW660. The tool comes with 1/8 and 1/4. Do you know if they make the 5/32 or what? And how can I get one?

Thanks, Jake

I have dewalt dw303 saw, that stop working, i press the trigger and nothing happen

Same symptoms happened with mine--pull out the battery and look at the connecting terminals--they may be misaligned due to dropped tool or using the tool to break off a cut. realigning the battery connections to marry the battery powered the tool up. However the terminals remain loose and lose continuity at any point .Certainly isn't a permanent fix. Unfortunately the terminals are part of the switch and it will have to be replaced.

Cannot put blade into 310 reciprocating saw the instructions in the manual do not make it clear

Point tool away from body.

2. Rotate blade clamp collar (the knurled diamond pattern knob just at the back of where the blade goes) to release position.

3. Insert blade shank from the front.
4. Rotate blade clamp collar to lock blade into position.

Dewalt xrp stuck in hammer mode cant move selector to drill or number selections

I am assuming you are talking about not being able to move the "Mode Control Collar" and unless you can get it out of hammer mode, you will not be able to change the torque collar either.

If you feel comfortable taking it apart AND its no longer under warranty, my best guess without seeing the tool will be part# N026313 Gear Case Assembly. It costs about $80.00 US

Hopefully its under warranty, if so you can go to

to locate nearest service center.

Good luck

I have a Dewalt dw600 and the drill bit broke off, just the main cutting bit, and I cannot remove the bit- I try to unlock but it won't come off.

DW660 is suppose to be a tool free bit insertion and removal. However a wrench may be necessary. If you have loosened the the collet nut either with the collet grip or a wrench and the bit does not come out. Remove the collet nut completely from the tool. Remove the the collet with the bit in it. With a couple of plyers, one use to hold the broken bit the other to twist the collet. Sometimes when the bit is overtighten the collet locks on to the bit so to speak and the collet wont expand back out thus releasing the bit by doing the above it will expand back out and release the bit. Reinstall the collet and collet nut.

I hope this helps, thanks for using FIXYA. Good luck and have a great weekend. Jeff

Dewalt DC410 cut-off wheel

from what I saw in the instruction manual they list this as a 5/8-11 thread so I would have to say that you would have to turn it counter-clockwise to loosen it. Good luck and let me know if you have any more problems.
