The muffin is controlled by using magnets. Get any magnet and put it on the bottom part of the muffin and the muffin should inflate. If not, you can remove the bottom plate on the bottom and manually remove the plunger inside.
Funrise (the manufacturer) does not appear to have the directions posted online. Their website does state that you can obtain a copy from them.

just squeeze the air out of the cake, position the circle on the bottom of the cake onto the circle in the oven, wave the wand over the heart or press the heart and it should rise in 5-30 seconds
Keep repositioning, it takes anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds. There are no special instructions, just make sure the circle on the bottom of the cake is lined up with the circle in the middle of the oven. Oh if you have the magic rise kitchen, you need to buy the oven (just read another review). We got the oven from Wal-Mart and ours works...also double check the batteries to make sure they're new. I think this is a cheaply made toy (it seems anything with the Disney name is ) because it's brand new and already they're on sale everywhere...I have to find the cake and cupcakes that are sold separately somewhere here in Canada...
I had the same problem. One response said it does snap together, but I found it easier to undo the screws, put the pieces in place, and then screw it back in.
I had the same problem, hang in there. What I did to finally resolve this silly stress, was put a little 'muscle' into snapping it together (this after some choice words you don't usually like to hear coming out of your own mouth on Christmas....lol....; yes, it does in fact 'snap' together.
*****************TURN OVEN OFF AT MAINS OR JUST TURN ALL ELECTRICS OFF ****************NOW.........hi the fan blade nut is anti clock undo... take fan off... you will see three screws undo... go to rear of oven remove panel..... the fan will come away in your hands... disconnect wires ... reverse action needed to put back together....
your closets appliance store should have part....most ovens if u look at back where burner goes thru wall....there is screw(s) undo them then slowly pull then wires will show with 2 more screws...undo them then go to appliance store they give you replacement then do reverse of above to install...should not cost more then $20 to buy
