I have a Zyxel P660HW D1 v2 ADSL modem my ISP is century link. My problem is coming from xbox live saying I have a strict nat type. I've done every thing i could possible look up to get my nat type open.. port forwarding..setup rules for my firewall in my network configurations..turned off my firewall. any help would be appreciated..can someone tell me how to setup the modem with a static IP? my computer has one setup but the modem itself has a different IP address when I look at it..thanks

Since you are referring to a router you can access the configuration using the web configuration you just need to type the router default ip address on your browser to access the configuration.

the default ip address is 192.168.1.1

You'll just need to open the port number for the specific game that doesn't play. Click the link below for the port number of your game. Use port forwarding feature of the zyxel when opening the game port.

You know, i had a similar problem, and i think its a glitch in the system. Take your console and play somewhere(not at home) with a STRICT NAT type; i did it, and when i plugged it in at home, it was open. It was weird, but its worth a shot.
