try a diferent reader and see if you cant find pictures

If you have an old Kodak camera, (produced before 20070 where you used to have a memory card with less then 1 Gbyte, it could be you now try to use a SDHC card and your camera can't handle that.
The first 2 and 4 Gbyte SD cards were also SD, but now no firm is producing any SD memory card above 1 Gbyte. Even the 2 Gb now are only SDHC.

maybe the driver isnt installed or the sd card is locked.
it could also be that that type of rreader cant read the format your info is in on the sd
what type are both

Get a Multimedia card reader for yourself. Plugin in the card reader in computer and insert the SD card in it. Once you see the SD Card in My computer that means your card reader is able to read the SD card that you have inserted. You can right click on the icon and click format. Do a quick format and choose file system as FAT32.

Is it larger than 1 GB? The SD card slot will not read SDHC cards.

Newer cameras may have SDHC cards - these have a high capacity. Older computers can't read the newer SDHC cards - they can only read the old SD Cards. The SD card and SDHC cards look exactly the same. The SDHC card will probably say "SDHC" on it somewhere. Fortunately you can buy a USB SDHC card reader for a computer for around £2 on amazon. I would buy one of those. You could search the internet for "usb sdhc card reader".

Try to your micro sd card on your samsung phone.If still not working try other working micro sd card.
