Uppdatering how can i uppdate my GPS with new maps

Have you tried RE-SETTING the unit ??? You can usually reset the unit just by switching it OFF and then ON again.
If this fails you can either refer to your TT Instruction Manual OR go to the TT Website for assistance.
The problem MAY possibly also be in your USB transfer cable; so try another cable.
Even without the original CD you can still log-on to TT Website to download any updates and re-register your GPS. I assume that you have the correct TT Software on your computer??? There is TOMTOM HOME; MY TOMTOM; and the latest one MY DRIVE.
Which one will depend on your GPS Model; but the TT Website will tell you which one you should be using ... ok

Updating will not do it. There are after market chips that will increase HP,tourque, shift points, And so on.

Go to your mail box check your profile there uppdate the date of birth to some 1950 values

It was the first time I loaded uppdate maps (for free, because new navigator) and then it
was blocked with the message:no maps found, when trying to start it...My last try was to put
the navigator on his usb support and opening" TomTom HOME" program, connected to "map share"
and loaded some tips, removed it "safely" from the usb connection and it showed the right
view again...Puhhh. Thanks anyway, your site gived quite som motivation.

Try to do a stand alone copy, by putting a document on the glass and press color button. If that work, uppdate me

well i dont really know how to fix it.. but what sort of mp3 player do you got if u got one from the sansa e200 series try to uppdate the mp3 but google around some and u find alot useful infomation but DONT format all partitions if u wanna make ur mp3 clear delete all songs (format the music partition on your mp3) and then uppdate it i hopes this helps .. i have almost same problems

1.to turn off the mp3 pull on menu/quit button for 15 sec
2.try to delete all songs on it(or search with a anti- virus/spyware software in the device!)
3.nothing on 1-2 works try to uppdate your sansa you can find uppdate software on www.sansa.com
