Hi how are you , mt problem in xerox copy centre 245 , the code is    03-372 i cannot scan a photo and attach it to an e-mail. i get a message that the fax extention has been disabled by outlook. i have a cannon mp 160 scanner and printer. FIX YA.COM took my money and i can't get back to my expert. "HELP"

If it was sent as an email attachment, forward the email. If it came by regular mail, scan it and then compose an email with the scanned copy attached.

click on the canon scan icon either in the desktop or progranms and it should open up a selection panel like photo to fole , photo to e-mail, document to file , document to e-mail, photo to tif etc
place the document to be scanned on the machine and press document to e-mail
it scans then opens up a new e-mail message with the document as an attachment
all you do is add the receiver address and what you want to say and then send
All of the instructions are in the user manual or you can download the user manual from google by typing in --user manual for canon pixma 432 copier --

The email has an attachment link, when you press the link it lets you choose any file you want to send.

Follow these steps :

If you need further instruction on creating an attachment, see your e-mail provider's "Help" or "FAQ" page for guidance.

Click the "Send" button in your e-mail message to send your photos and scanned messages. The e-mail may take longer than normal to complete the delivery process, depending on the number and size of the files that you are sending.

there is a scan procedure manually in 3535
on machine go to scan option
set scan option like paper, photo mode etc
and just scan remember mail box name

then form pc browes ur machine ip
if ur having java aplet on ur pc
it shows web tools
go to
webscan option
write ur mail box name
refresh
it shows ur scan document
then set ur file format JPEG or pdf then click to save as
it will be download to ur pc

Just attach the scanner to your laptop.Install the drivers of your scanner into your laptop and restart the laptop.
Now start scaning your documents..

You it is necessary to return the code of the manager, or apply to service centre, such information to you nobody will not give and no such code, which you have found in internet. This problem to me known. This only service centre, they do not divulge such information

You will have to call in a xerox tech, it seems that one of the boards on the scanner is u\s

You can not scan with a M20i with an Ethernet cat 5 cable. It can ONLY be done via a USB or parallel cable.

If you don't believe me, which many on here wont accept the truth, here is the note from the Xerox documentation..

The WorkCentre can scan a document via Direct Scanning using a USB or Parallel Port connection only.
