I would suggest that this is a problem with either the screen, or the connecting cables. There is no easy way to fix this yourself, so I would recommend taking it to an Apple store, or Apple authorised service provider to get a diagnostic of the problem. Apple stores won't charge you to find out what is wrong, so it might be worth checking it out.

Why macbook not turn off blank screen

If the Apple laptop (or desktop) doesn't shut down properly, try pressing and holding in the power button for 3-5 seconds. This will force a shut down. Good idea to wait a few minutes before attempting a restart again.

Won't turn on

The problem in blank white screen is the display (LCD). Send it to a technician for repair. The blinking folder with a question mark is conflict on drivers. Have you installed a software lately? If you do please uninstall it. Maybe that is the cause of having a blank white screen.

When I turn my MacBook air on a blank White screen

Leave the Macbook air turned on until the battery goes dead. Then Connect to power and start it up. That should solve the problem. You problem was caused by not letting an update install in full.

My macbook has a blank white screen, and then it showed a flashing file folder with a question mark on it.

Your macbook is not locating your hardrive.
turn off your laptop, insert the Mac OS disc in the drive, and then reboot while holding down the c key to allow it to boot from the OS on the DVD.
Then use the disk utilities application from the desktop menu and to a disk repair on your hard drive and then restart.

Potentially dead Nintendo DS lite LCD screen. (bottom)

Hey, I can help you.

Yes, the Bottom LCD is dead. You will have to exchange it.

Below I have two links you should follow through. One to purchase a bottom LCD for a very cheap price and the other will show you how to replace the bottom LCD.

REMEMBER.. To place a plastic pad under the bottom lcd so it doesn't ground out the board. Forgetting to do this could potentially blow a fuse and you will have to replace those!!

Macbook - screen white/blank after turning on

Sounds like it could be a corrupted OS; have you tried forcing it to start up with the OS disk, holding down the 'C' key? That's the first place to start...

If it won't start up like that, you probably have a hardware problem. (You can get excellent troubleshooting guidance at: http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Mac/ ) depending on your level of geekness, and assuming the warranty is expired?

Good luck

Monitor non functional

Am I correct in understanding that your MacBook is operating properly, but when you attach your external monitor it doesn't show anything?
I often connect my black MacBook 2GHz to my flat screen's VGA port. Sometime the screen doesn't respond for one reason or another. The fastest solution is typically to mirror the screens then return to normal. When that doesn't work, it's usually enough to restart the MacBook while it's still plugged in to the external monitor. If neither of those work, try connecting to a different monitor or finally try replacing the connector.
Unfortunately those connectors don't have the best life spans. (See Apple's customer reviews on DVI connectors.)
