My nokia 5310 fell down and volume control is not working.. i am not able to adjust the volume.. how can i make the volume control work.. or how can i increase or decrease the volume without using volume control.. please give me a solution.

either your volume button get damaged or the software gets corrupted in your phone.. change the volume button and format the phone.this willl fix your phone..

i have nokia 5310 mobile xpress music, once i remove the memory card and inserted, now it's asking password but i din't remember of setting password for memory card, pls help me on urgent basis or re-direct to correct party to liaise with..
The volume key is stuck that's why the volume bar keeps on popping out. It is also the reason why the keypad is not working. You have to unstuck the volume key to check if the keypad really doesn't work.
Remove the battery cover and battery.
Remove the camera cover by prying the locks along its sides and lifting it up to expose the volume keys.
Insert a needle between the volume key membranes and the board to unstuck it. The membranes should click when pressed.
Install the camera cover in reverse order.
Inform me if the volume keys work fine but the keypad buttons don't.
Nevermind! I found the solution. You just have to go to nokia.com and choose your phone and you can have them text the MMS and web settings directly to your phone and then you simply save the settings and after I did this, no problems. Works like a charm now! Stupid AT&T customer service.... Grrr.
Hi. I had a similar problem but only the down volume buttonw worked (which meant that my volume was at 1 but I couldn't get it to go any higher). If you are able to use one of the volume buttons, press it once to take you to the voulme control screen; then use the centre button to conrol up and down using left and right.
WELL you place the call press send wait for connection and then use the up arrow to contro volume...sound simple well it took us a heck of a long time to figure this out HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU
