Already did that and on the command prompt its saying ip address n mac address not available

goto control panel->device manager and check in the network connections part to see if your adapter is listed, if it isn't then restart your machine and check again. If it still doesn't show, check that the network connection in question is securely fitted ( if it is an add-on card) There may well be a yellow triangle next to your device in the device manager, this will indicate that you have a problem with the device itself.

I have by cannon 6570i moddel ihave continew error {chek the network conection chek the tcp ip the defalt key is curruptedor invelid}

1) Select the following service mode COPIER>TEST>NETWORK>PING, and select PING.
2) Enter the IP addressof your PC using the numeric keys on the control panel, and press OK.
3) Press the start key.
- OK is displayed if Ping succeeds, but NG is displayed if it ends in failure.

Perform this procedure only when connecting the machine to networks.
If the machine fails to be connected to networks, any of the following causes is probable.
a. Connection failure between networks and the machine
b. TCP/IP setting failure of the machine
c. User network failure
d. Main controller PCB failure
The detailed check methods are as follows.

Checking with Loopback Address
you can check whether TCP/IP settings of
the machine are appropriate by executing Ping with this address.
1) Enter the loopback address (127.0.0.1) in PING.
- If NG is displayed, check TCP/IP settings of the machine again, and re-execute Ping.
- If OK is displayed, perform the next check.
Checking with Local Host Address
The local host address is the IP address of the machine. Since the local host address returns in response to the network controller by executing Ping with the address, you can check whether the network controller (main controller PCB) is in a normal condition.
1) Enter the IP address of the machine in PING.
If NG is displayed, take the following actions, and re-execute Ping.
- IP address error of the machine: Check to see again if the IP address settings of the machine are appropriate. Ask the system administrator whether the allocated IP address is valid.
- Failure in the main controller PCB: Replace the main controller PCB
If OK is displayed, a cause may be user's network environment. Inform the system administrator of the current situation, and ask for measures.

If you have Windows XP then try this, for Windows 7 and Vista also the procedure is similar. If you have Vista or 7 then tell me I'll post the tutorial for that also.
  1. In Windows XP, click the Start button and select Control Panel.

  2. Click the Network and Internet Connections category.

  3. Note: If you are using Classic View, you will see the control panel icons instead of categories. Double-click the Network Connections icon.

  7. In the Local Area Connection Properties window, do the following:
    • Verify that the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) box is checked.
    • Note: If your Ethernet adapter is not listed in the Connect using box, you need to install your adapter.

    • Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) once to highlight it and then click the Properties button.

No ip address

Network Card's driver is not installed. Check and install drivers from Device Manager Window.

IP Address can be assigned automatically(through APIPA/DHCP) or Manually.

Automatic:
There is no DHCP server, it takes the Automatic Private IP address(APIPA) or else get it from DHCP server by using "ipconfig" command
Steps: Start>accessories>command prompt>ipconfig /renew

Manually:
Right click on My Network Places> Properties>Right click on Local Area connection>Properties>General Tab>select Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)> Properties>General> select "Use the following IP address> assign IP, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS> Press OK Tab.

I cannot connect to internet with my wireless usb adapter

you need to get into your routers settings and make sure that DHCP is enabled to automatically assign ip addreses and also go to the properties of your wireless adapter and ensure obtain ip address automatically is checked. Turn off any WEP or WPA security until you have all the connections, make sure that the adapter is on the same wireless channel as your router and that all the pc's are on the same network workgroup eg WORKGROUP or MSHOME. It may be as simple as right clicking on your wireless adapter icon in control panel>network conections and select connect.

Connected on Wireless but unable to connect on Internet

If not done allready, setup the lan IP address and default gateway in win98 Click MyComputer-ControlPanel-Network-Double Click TCP/IP Adapter for your 3com device-insert LAN info for IP Adress-subnet mask, Gateway and your Internet service providors DNS Addresses info Tab's (3x different Tabs "IP Adress" "Gateway" "DNS Configuration") IP Adress will be at least one number higher than your gateway address and not allready being used by other PC's on your network and gateway address will same as your router interface address subnet mask will be the same for all PC's on your network. For 3com and Netgear routers LAN setup is usually Gateway = 192.168.1.1 Subnet Mask = 255.255.255.0 IP Adress = 192.168.1.10(choose alternate number than 10 if allready used by another PC on your network, try to use round numbers, must be a number higher than 1) Once all info is entered click OK (this may trigger a database info update message and task)now your LAN is setup and ready to talk to your network Restart PC and try browsing again. May possibly require reinstallation of the TCP/IP client (you double clicked this to setup your LAN in Win98) or reinstallation of the IIS(Internet Information Services)component found in, Add/Remove Programs-Add/Remove windows components and then try LAN setup again if this does not work first time round

Wireless 3crusb10075 problem

Sounds as if your router may need to be set to enable wireless connection and enable DHCP, this alocates your wireless adapter an I.P Address automatically. If this is alraedy the case, check the properties of your adapter to see if it's set to recieve I.P address automatically. If still no joy find your routers I.P. address and DNS address (this is what you type in your web browser to set it up). If your router is 192.168.2.1 or similair, set your adapter at 192.168.2.2 and the same DNS address normally 255.255.255.0. Restart both pc and router and try again. Also make sure network sharing has been set up via the XP wizard.
