Hello Susan,

What you need to do is to gently pull the cockpit housing off the post at the bottom rear and remove it from the machine. You can now access those connector plugs much easier along with noting where the trim screw is located.

Please note that the battery pack has a female connector while both your charger and the lead to the electric motor have male ends. Those male ends have two small pins within the connector and you need to get them oriented correctly with the round holes within the female connector.

Once you have established this, a dab of finger nail polish on the top side of each connector will make it easier to orient the plugs for charging the battery, or connecting the battery to the motor leads in the future.

Make sure to charge the battery for at least three hours, Do Not Overcharge.

Remote will not control the helicopter

did you charge the helicopter.... you need to put the charging cable in to the copter. and charge up can use a usb power plug. when charged the light on the usb cable should light up or flash. also if you take the plastic cover off the front there is a battery in there and a board check to see what number its set on. it takes around 5 seconds for the remote to recognise the unit.

Nyko charger won't charge

Had same problem with blinking lights and not charging.
Plug charger base in (blinking lights), remove controllers, and plug USB cable into front charge slot (behind hinged panel). This reset charger base and lights stopped blinking. As FYI - the USB was connected to other device (charging it). Add the controllers and correct charging lights show up - including the controller 1 and 2 symbols. Controllers now charging.

On what part of the helicopter do i connect the remote charger to, I can't find it?

When the helicopter is sitting upright, locate the on/off power switch located on one side of the helicopter. The charging port is located on the opposite side and will look like a tiny square hole/plug (usually white or beige).

Note: The charging cable can only be plugged in one way, because it's notched / keyed so that it can only be plugged in one way. If it does not seem to be going in smoothly one way, flip it over, and try gently plugging it in again.

My sharpshooter and remote both turn on, but the helicopter does not react at all, what should i do?

I had this problem yesterday as well :)

My helicopter charged once worked and flew once for about 5 minutes. Then the helicopter stopped responding to the controller and it wouldn't take a charge. When I connected the remote to the helicopter the CHG light came on solid for about 30 seconds. This means that the controller is waiting to be plugged into the helicopter.

A couple of points to check before you go further:
1) make sure that the helicopter is turned OFF before charging!
2) When charging the red CHG light will blink.
3) When finished charging the red CHG light and the green Power light will blink at the same time.
4) After a certain amount of time both lights will stop blinking to save the batteries.

After taking the helicopter apart this is what I have found:
*The helicopter has a 140mA-H 3.7V Li-Po battery.
*The battery has a little board with 2 tiny computer chips. When the battery is empty these 2 chips will completely disconnect the battery. This prevents damaging the battery and this is why the helicopter stops responding when the battery is empty.
*There are two connections between the battery and the little board - a long connection which wraps one time around the battery and a short connection. My problem was with the short battery connection.

Solution --The little board has a short piece of foil which connects to another short piece of foil on the battery. These two pieces of foil are simply pressed together and then glued. In my case this connection broke. To fix the problem I removed the yellow tape and glue and used a soldering iron to solder the 2 foil pieces together. Make sure that you put tape (any household tape should be OK) back on the battery to prevent any shorts.

My Web RC - Heli I. IR - Web Wolf isn't starting up even after I charge it. The instructions are very vague. What am I doing wrong

Hi! My sister's son had the exact same problem and after a quick look over the instruction manual I was able to get it to work. I have tried all the different Airhogs and this webrc is truly a superior flying toy. You can actually control it and make it go wherever you want to after you learn how to use the trim knob. Here are my suggestions to fixing the charging issue:
- Make sure the helicopter is OFF, - the batteries are fully charged on the controller/charger - and that the charging cable is plugged in correctly. You will know when you plugged it in correctly because the little light on the controller will change from red to green or vice-versa (cant remember) - the light on the controller/charger will change colors again when the helicopter is fully charged. - I am also an electrical engineer so I recommend you wait 10-15 minutes after turning it off and the same after charging it for optimal battery performance and life.
Hope this helps.
Have a safe flight!

How do you charge the mini ah 64

Turn the remote over and look for the sliding door on the back bottom right (it has a circle and some arrows on it, push in the direction of the arrows) the cable is under this door. Then connect that cable to the helicopter by plugging it into the white slot next to the on/off switch.
