Hello dot2607, if you took it apart and seen it disconnected at the soldered point on the little green circuit board then you can get a solder gun and solder it back. If you assume that this has happened then you can take it apart by unscrewing the bottom of the train and pull the body frame of the train off very gently. Make sure not to pull to hard because if its not broken the soldered wire can be pulled off of the circuit board when you open it. You can test it after to see if the little red light turns on located on top of the trains body frame. Wallah!!
I'm sorry I didn't see your reply till today. I must say that from my experience with this model of train it did the same to me when I opened it up. The part where it cracked the circuit board is not a vital brake. It's like you said , "just holding the wires in place". Screw it back on and if you can soldere it great if not see if it works without the solder and I think if its the same break as mine than you will be ok. Make sure your batteries are good but all in all mine still worked after it was all said and done.

The soldered wire is disconnected, but we pulled too hard I guess and the little green board in it snapped. I don't think it can be fixed now can it? Is the green board part of the circuitry or does it just hold the wires in place? If i solder it together could it still work or are we out of luck?
