The date code is not indicated in the machine's model number but in the serial number. Look for the serial number plate and the last two letters of the serial number indicates the date code. The serial number is composed of 6 or 8 digit number followed by two letters (example: 12345678ZY). The first letter indicates the year in which the product was produced while the second letter is the month. Refer to the table below to determine the year and month in which the machine as produced.
In the example above, the date code is ZY. The date in which the machine was manufactured is November 1977/2001.
