Lucky for Light Emitting Diodes huh? (led)

I'm looking at a legend, on a Carrier furnace door, right now.

One long followed by two short is the "twenty one" code.

Here's what the door sticker says;

"EACH OF THE FOLLOWING CODES IS A TWO DIGIT NUMBER WITH THE FIRST DIGIT DETERMINED BY THE NUMBER OF SHORT FLASHES AND THE SECOND DIGIT DETERMINED BY THE NUMBER OF LONG FLASHES."

Look on your legend, inside the door of the furnace, to find the code diagnostic recommendation.

Make sure to read the codes several times and see the code from the beginning so you make sure the code starts with that digit.

Knowing this furnace means; the code diagnostic recommendation is just that, a suggestion. It will not tell a trained tech what to fix, only a starting point and tell-tale signs.

Code 21 is the gas valve lockout, and will not reset. May be a gas valve, relay or control board (most likely). Call someone.

It's complex for a trained person too, so if you're not familiar, this isn't something to make a mistake on.

Luck to you. Let me know how you get on.

I have a carrier furnace and the led light is blinking 3 short then three long what is the code

code 33 LIMIT OR FLAME ROLL-OUT SWITCH IS OPEN - If open longer than three
minutes, code changes to #13. Flame roll-out switch requires manual reset.
Check for: - Dirty filter or restricted duct system. - Loose blower wheel.
- Defective blower motor or capacitor. - Defective switch or connections.
- Inadequate combustion air supply (Flame Roll-out Switch or fuse link open).
- Open Flame Roll-out switch, or fuse link. Manual reset or replace.

Carrier Gas Furnace runs fine randomly stops blowing LEDs flash

That blinking light may be the diagnostic light. Count the blinks next time it fails. Carrier units will have two different blinks depicting the error code such as one blink followed by a pause than 3 blinks giving you an error code of 13. Then look at the wiring diagram, it will have an error code chart telling you where to start with your diagnosis. You already know that if you remove the cover it erases the error code, so look thru the small window first.

Furnace wont run

First of all when you flip the switch, it goes thru a startup sequence. THEN it turns on the Igniter (notice the red glow). Then the gas turns on.

Now at this point check the idiot light and it should be giving you a code of 34. That 34 (3 shorts 4 longs) says that there was a problem igniting the furnace. After it cycles thru at least 4 times and fails to ignite all the blowers, then is when you get a code 14 (1 short 3 longs)

NOTICE what's happening with ALL the burner Tubes each time it attempts to ignite. If only one or two are running....then this is your problem.
To fix all you do is take out the burner Tubes, look for debris, blow them out (blow from the front where all the jets are), and replace them in sequence from left to right (the tabs overlap).
