Little white spots appearing. Started with one now have 8. They look like little stars. TV is only 2-years old

French toast is nice. You need white bread, 2 eggs, 1 cup of milk, a little sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. wisk it all together, dip the bread about ten seconds a side and fry on medium heat with a little oil. Makes about 8 to 10 slices.

It is the Optical lamp board

The projection engine have problems,it the cause.Two years tv shouldn't have this problems already.Call talk to mitsubishi,might get some help the cost of the repair.

The DMD chip is failing. The little mirrors on it are sticking in the on position therefore always reflecting the white light from the lamp. The random whit dots you are seeing is more than not the DMD or million little mirrors board. The white spots represent some of the mirrors that are sticking in the on position. In that case they are always reflecting white light from the lamp. I don't concider the DMD board a do it yourself repair since on the older DLP set it requires mechanical alignment as well. The best thing to do is contact a techincian and see what they might charge to repair the TV for you. Please take a few moments to rate my answer...Thanks..

Go to the Samsung website, find your model under the search function, and click on one of the returned links. Once there, you should see a link that says "Featured Accessories". Click on that and you will go to the Authorized Samsung parts site, where you can find the EXACT cost of the parts needed. Hope this helps. Mine went out, and it was only $65.

You seem to have an issue either with the video board or the dmd board, do the next thing, with the Tv on go to your service menu, is the white spots are still there, it's most probable that your dmd board is failing, if not, the issue is with your video board.

Is it a fuzzy spot or an actual hard edged black spot?LCD televisions can have a loss of pixel display- most very small. Was the TV hit with something or dropped against something (the screen)?
