I have an ebac homedry 870. works great ,has done for 10 plus years probably 15. Now it rattles, has got quite loud. You can get part of the same noise if you shake the unit side to side. i think...

I see by my computer this is a UK unit made for UK climates.
I also found various web sites you can access for help with your unit. Please explore these.
