The filter that you are refering to is the ion filter it can be order from many different online stores. I have found one that the part number is KCM50WF sell the item for $12.99 for 2 and a $1.99 shipping. I asume that you already know how to replace the filter. You might also check your local hardware store as many of them also stock these types of filters. Run 1/4 cup vingar with a pot of water. The coffee is not finishing its cycle and some remains in the works. You may have to do this several times. Washing the carafe with ice and salt by swirling it around a few times until it sparkels clean. Last thing for a good cup of coffee is filtered water which will keep the unit cleaner too. :)

Err2 is a failed heating element. There is no fix or replacement parts sold. I was lucky I had a receipt, even out of the year warranty they(KitchenAid) are still replacing it.
