Hi I have a Bosch WFL226 MAXX. The wash programmes seem to work OK - the motor operates the drum and the pump works fine and drains the machine. The water level vacuum switch seems ok (it stops it overfilling and I can hear it clicking). However the spin and rinse programmes don't seem to work - the drain pump runs but the drum does not spin. I fear it's the programme module - which is too expensive to justify spending on an old machine. Before I scrap it however - is there anything else I should try? I haven't checked the motor brushes as the motor works on the wash cycle. Thanks

Hi there, this problem sounds as though the carbon brushes are needing replaced or infact just needing to be cleaned of dust or dirt. Its very common for the brushes to be covered in dust and fibres. Im not sure where the brushes will be on this model but I hope this helps you in someway.

It was suggested that the pump had failed and taken out the programmer with it - expensive! Wife wouldn't wait, and bought new machine. Problem almost solved - anyone want an out of order washing machine?

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

If it fills then the next phase is to agitate.
To do that the motor must drive
Can you hear a whirring sound from the machine if you get close to it if so then the belt driving driving drum may have snapped.
If not then the motor brushes may have stuck or have worn out.
Does the machine programmer advance by itself or are you turning the dial

according to that i think the problem come from timer after you fix this problem pleas donot select your program during conncting electrical power thankyou
