I have a Mac OS X Version 10.6.5 (brand new) and I am recording music from my Roland Juno-G with my Lexicon Lambda into Garageband. It seems to be inconsistent, but sometimes (more then less) there is a subtle but very noticeable static in the background of my recordings. I am not maxing out the peak or have old cables, i specifically bought new expensive cables meant for electric piano recording to see if that was the issue. Are there any tricks to getting this static out?? It seems to be worse when I plug into the front "Instrument" outlet versus the back "line one" outlet, however it is still there no matter where I plug in. Thank you for any suggestions or help you may have.

SOURCE: lambda doesn't record, though it seems ready to go

you need to go to the "control panel" on your computer.....click on sounds and audio devices, then hit the "audio" tab...make sure the lambda is selected on the recording and playback device....then apply...this should take care of it

Can I update roland Juno G Old version to new?

Here is the link you need but pay absolute attention to the Please note section in each case as the Juno D LE and the original Juno D are different. If you install the wrong update you will have problems with the keyboard working at all.
