Someone created a fake facebook page impersonating my daughter - she's reported this page as a fake on facebook and so has everyone who has seen it but nothing has happened, it's been a few weeks. Facebook is simply not responding. This page has photos and has her phone number and lewd comments. It's a very dangerous situation. What can she do?

Did you go to help and reported it. There is a report page under help to report a profile using your name
also if son is under 15 years of age also mention this !

First off, who created that duplicate account? If it wasn't you who created it, then that's a poser account created to impersonate you. Report it as 'pretending to be me'. Tell your Facebook friends to report it too. Or use your other accounts to report that duplicate account.

Oh, I don't normally do this, but could you give me the URL of that duplicate account? I could report it for you.

There is one thing you can do...

On the Google+ page you'll see a "Report this profile" link - use that and choose the "Impersonation" option. try this.

I think you will have to create your new Page and then report the old Page as 'impersonating' your Page.

Impostor profiles - fake profiles created to imitate real people - are not allowed on Facebook. To report an impostor:

1. Go to the profile.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the left column and click "Report/Block This Person."
3. As long as you're not friends with the profile, you'll see an option for "This profile is impersonating someone or is fake." Choose this option as the report type. If you don't see this option,unfriend the profile and then try again.

Just go to the account and use the report/block button and report them for being fake.

report the impersonator mail all your buddies telling them about your impersonator cross fingers and follow up with facebook,
sorry but i dont think anything else can be done unless you can hack into the facebook database and delete this numnuts.

First thing you need to do is report it to the police epically if you don't know or don't trust the person that is doing it, because they could be using your daughters identity on other websites that you don't know about.

Create accounts at facebook and report abuse on the fake profile created telling the administrator the real problem.
