Phone keeps coming up insert sim everytime i switch it on enen tho ive put a brand new sim card in, any ideas?

Unless you're Verizon phone has been unlocked. If it isn't, then it's carrier locked and won't work until it's unlocked.

If it says insert correct Sim card in the Phone means it locked to some Network,You need to Unlock it...You need to specify the Network ,Country,Brand,Model...then get the Unlock code at here Classicunlocking.com and Unlock it...Then You can use any GSM Network Sim card.....

hi, have you tried inserting another sim card? try inserting another one and if you still get the same message it means the the memory space of the phone might be faulty...if after inserting another sim and it worked properly, it means that the sim card signal is week..it means you have to contact your service provider.

im not sure about this one as i would have to see the phone but i believe that one of the pin receptors to your sim card is damaged or the slot or latch you put your sim card in has come loose some if it is loose try some tape if not then take it to a cellular repair store and get an estimate on how much it will cost to fix it

attempt to take the SIM card out and gently wipe it off (pay especial detail to the copper connectors on the under-side.) after that, give a gentle blow to the recieving area for the sim on the phone and place the sim back in the phone, power up, and hopefully this problem will be solved. this issue occurs often to myself and this seems to be a very simple solution.

There's a few things that can cause this. The case that is holding in the sim card is lose, the sim card itself is not all the way in it's case and connecting it to the phone or the sim reader on the phone is not working, or the sim card is bad. To check to see if the sim card is bad...put it in another cell phone that is also with your same network carrier...if it says the same thing "insert sim" you have a bad sim card and will need to go to your local carrier's store and get a new one or call your carriers customer service line. Hey i'm having the same problem with mine, u prob got it sorted by now but i found that it is because my sim card is so old, tested it with my friends brand new sim card and works fine,
