The lamp units should be properly aligned with the 2 very tiny switches
between them. If not lamp led will blink.
If lamp led is continuously on, lamp timer has to be reset, according instructions that come with new units.
Original lamp modules are AH-45001 and AH-45002, two different
units needen for 1 projector, reset procedure is different for each lamp !!

SOURCE: Bulb Life

The bulb should last for about 2500 hours as per the manufacturers.
Try resetting the timer even without replacing the light bulb. Check page # 49 of the PDF file on how is done.
http://www.aboutprojectors.com/pdf/eiki-lc-sd15-manual.pdf
I would suggest to turn the projector OFF when not in use.
Good Luck.

SOURCE: No power to Eiki EIP-2500 projector

there is a fuse on the power supply. if the fuse is good, you'll need to replace the power supply.

SOURCE: bulb won't work

If you are sure that you installed the new bulb correctly , then I recommend that you reset your projector . Some projectors don't realize that you changed the bulb physically until you reset them .

Wd60c9 lights blinking green sometimes, then yellow and finally red and no picture for any significant length of time

2 possibilities. First, the bulb which allows you to view your picture could be burned out. If that is the case, your tv will turn on and you will hear audio but no picture. $85 for a new warranted bulb from Shopjimmy.com. Second possibility. If your TV is on with no picture or sound, you probably have a light engine problem.$325. I don't think it's your light engine. Just don't have enough information. Check the first possibility first. The bulb takes less than 5 minutes to replace. Don't buy just the bulb, buy it with the housing. It doesn't cost more, it costs less and saves a ton of aggravation. Don't touch the bulb with your fingers, use latex gloves when working on electronics.

Replace the 2 bulbs. Unit powered up correctly and turned on like normal. Then Lamp1 and Lamp 2 indicator lights blinked (Indicating Start UP). After some period of time, it switched to Red 6 times blink...

1 red blink every 2.5 seconds indicates a cover error-- for this check the lamp cover
2 times red blinks very 2 seconds indicates temperature error. for this let the projector cool off check filters and fans that there is no blockage of air for proper cool down
3 red blinks every every 2 seconds Power error. incorrect voltage input or internal malfunction.
4 red blinks every 2 seconds indicates Fan Error check the fans make sure they are working and not blocked or need replacing.
i have nothing on 6 ligths go ahead reconect and check for proper count. hope this information helps.
Best of Luck.

Hums but no power to lights

If I understand correctly, you have a Malibu power pack and can not manually turn lights on-off but timer is humming so the timer has power.
1) That eliminates electric circuit as suspect.

2) Try to spark a wire across terminals and see timer has power on terminals.
3) Check that your bulbs are good, because they can all burn out in a hurry if a couple of them suddenly go bad.

4) I have not found repairs and parts for power packs.
After hours of reading manuals, searching Malibu, Intermatic, ebay etc I found nothing.
There are folks who write fixya how they took apart their power pack, but nobody reported fixing a power pack once it goes bad.

5) Best I found are tips for next power pack that might save money:
The reason I add these tips now, is some fella wrote-in to fixya.
He bought 500 Watt power pack to replace 300 Watt > thinking bigger was better.
Power pack burned out. Here's why:
a) Match wattage of bulbs with wattage of power pack
-15 each X 20 watt bulbs = 300 watts, so install 300Watt power pack
b) Installing a 500W power pack on 300W of bulbs will burn out bulbs and power pack.
c) Replace bulbs as soon as they burn out or other bulbs will burn out and power pack will burn out.
d) When working on bulbs, unplug power pack or it may burn out.

Add a comment for more free help.
Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

My malibu landscape 300w transformer does not want to come on

Check that power pack is getting electricity.
Power pack should make a small humming sound when on.
Scratch a wire across both terminal screws and see if there is spark.
If a bulb burns out, and is not replaced, additional voltage can burn out other bulbs.
Power pack should be unplugged if bulbs are not burning since that can burn out power pack.
Change out a couple bulbs and then plug-in power pack.
Check connections where lights tie into wire.

My power pack was doing same thing, I bought another power pack from Home Depot to check my lights. All but 2 bulbs were burned out. I replaced bulbs and returned new power pack.. and then power pack quit for good a month later.

I found tips to preserve power packs:
1) Match wattage of bulbs with wattage of power pack
-15 each X 20 watt bulbs = 300 watts, so install 300Watt power pack
2) Installing a 500W power pack on 300W of bulbs will burn out bulbs and power pack.
3) Replace bulbs as soon as they burn out or other bulbs will burn out and power pack will burn out.
4) When working on bulbs, unplug power pack or it may burn out.

Blinker blinks fast, replaced bulb, it burned out too

Most cars have separate flashers for each side now, and in fact, if it still blinks, even though faster than normal, there's probably a short circuit somewhere on the light wire where it's exposed and making contact with the frame of your car or some other metal part, which then causes the bulb to burn out.

One surface light bulb on GE Profile microwave keeps burning out

I have the same problem. The left one burns out within a couple of hours use, the other one lasts a couple of months and is then gone. This pattern has repeated over 8 years. I replace them every now and then and then just go without until I get the urge again to fix it. Maybe smaller lower wattage lamps are worth trying...
