I have a Fisher Price tough kid DVD player and cannot find the instructions. Can you send an electronic copy or tell me how to work it. It goes on, and the beginning of the DVD plays, but the actual movie will not play. The DVDs all work on other DVD players in the home, so it is not them - but perhaps the unit. Thank you.

Unfortunately, your laptop probably has Windows 8 x64. Fisher Price never made drivers for any Windows 64 bit OS. If you had a 32-bit version of Windows, I'd suggest the Fisher Price Windows Vista and 7 software. You could try upgrading to Win8 Pro and using Hyper-V to install a legal copy of XP 32-bit (if you can find one), then use the virtual copy of XP to connect to the FP3. (Windows 7 Pro and Ultimate offered Virtual PC with XP mode to get a copy of XP 32-bit without the expense of a licensed copy.) Otherwise, you need a computer with an older and 32-bit OS. However, 32-bit OS's are limited to a maximum of 3GB of memory.

I'm not sure which light you are referring to but my daughters dvd player blinks on the side right by the brightness controls when it is charging.

Call fisher price and tell them and they will refund up to $150.00 without a receipt if you paid more then that then you have to have receipt showing that. All of the kid tough dvd players are breaking thats why they are not selling them anymore. I hope I was helpful.

Contact Fisher Price at 1-800-432-5437 and request a refund. They will mail you a refund check for the purchase amount if you are still within the one year warranty period. Make sure you have the original copy of your receipt. They will send you a USPS Delivery Confirmation via email with a special barcode. It will take approximately 4-6 weeks to receive your refund check. This seems like a pretty common problem. They didn't hesitate to offer a refund when I called. Hope this helps. This is a solution for getting a working camera, not really to get your camera working. I phoned Fisher Price and was told to format the camera. Turn camera off, plug into USB, right click on the camera drive in my computer and choose format. When this didn't work for me, they sent me a mailing label to send the camera back so they could send me a new one. The formatting is worth a try, and at least you get a new camera when it doesn't work.
