The dash light are on the same circuit as the tail lights as a safety feature. You know when the tail light are out because the dash lights go out when they do. Check the fuse box. If the lights are going out and coming back on the fuse or wiring to that fuse may be loose.

I was having the same problem. Found out that is a safety feature for when one of your tail lights go out, your dash lights do too. Check your bulbs (brakes, blinkers, etc).

I have a 96 grand am and it keeps blowing the fuse for the tail lights and dash only

There is a short in your wiring.. i would look first near the tail light connector in the trunk.. and around the tail lights. If it blows that quick it is a dead short and you should be able to find it. move wires around and try another fuse.. if it stops blowing look at the last place you were checking the wires.

Where is the tail light fuse located

Look at your owners manual and locate the fuse box. The manual or the fuse box cover should indicate which fuse is for the tailight circuit.
If it is just the tail lights, you may have a broken wire connection or a brake light switch problem.
Could be bulbs as well.

Tail light fuse

Ramsey, what is the problem?
If the light is not working, try lightly hitting it. I found that it could be minor disconnect and the light comes on.

My tail lights want work bulbs are good fuses are good

Do the front park lights work? when you say tail lights i expect you mean your park lights, and that your turn signakls and brake lights work ok? A common problem with the infinitys lies in the multi function switch if yours is loacted in your steering colume. if your light switch is located in dash, or console and your front lights work check ground at rear light harness, located in trunk/hatch.

96 dodge ram 2500 tail lights and instrument panel lights quit working at the same time all other lights work help please!!!

Check your tail light fuse, on the dodge ram the dash lights and tail lights use the same fuse so if the tail light fuse blows your dash lights will go out to alert you of no tail lights.

1998 Nissa Sentra brake light & battery light come on

I had the same problem with my 96 Nissan/ infinity g20.
If I turned on the ac the brake & battery lights came on, the AC fan would work but the air did not blow cold. Disconnected the battery for a few hours to reset the computer. That solved the problem.
Now, no lights, and the AC blows cold.

Replace the tail light bulbs in 2004 infiniti g 35 coup

tail light bulbs are replaced by removing the tail light housings. The housings are accessed by removing the nuts, the nuts are secured behind the inner trunk liner inside the trunk. Remove fasteners holding liner in place, remove 3 nuts for each housing(i believe it's 3 nuts if my memory serves me right), remove housing and replace bulbs
