Clear the lock mechanism -- as indicated by the DOOR LOC light -- by pressing and holding in the oven door light switch for 20 to 30 seconds. While the switch is depressed, the latch motor will gradually withdraw the lock, allowing you to open your oven door.
When your Dacor cooktop is locked, there will be a red light lit above the Dacor emblem located under your cooktop controls.
If you see this light, pressing the Dacor emblem for three seconds will turn it off and unlock your range. Pressing it again for three seconds will again lock your range and turn the light back on.
Another fun thing about that Dacor emblem is that if one or more of your elements are lit, tapping it twice in quick succession will turn off all elements.
Hi, The lock switch will need to be replaced. Lock switch, the switch has failed and causes the buzzer to run. Not a difficult repair but the top will need to be remover to fix this. This is not advisable to repair if your not knowledgeable with the installation part of this unit. Good Luck
Hi, just under the lock light you should be able to press and hold with your
thumb for about 5-10 seconds and it will reset. You may need to place
your thumb directly on the lock light or just below it and hold it to
unlock it.
