When you bleached your hair you removed all the pigment from your hair which is why your hair turned pink. You need to use a color the same level you want to achieve but make sure it is an N ( to put back the primary colors ) this is called a filler. after you rinse and dry then apply the 5RR . it helps to rinse out not shampoo joico color esp the red series then use joico cuticle sealer. don't shampoo your hair for 2 days , it should help with the red fading. always use a filler when coloring bleached hair.

Hi...I recently used Goldwell topchic 9N and mixed it equal parts with topchic 30 vol. cream developer. My roots came out a reddish tone which I do not like. My virgin color is between a 2 and a 3 (Dark...

it's only possible to lift 3 shades (like 3to 6, or 4 to 7) without taking undertones into consideration. To go from a dark brown (level 3) to a 9n you would have to pre-lighten your hair with an on the scalp bleach first. Then color with 9n and 20 volume

Using 7N and 7C on natural red/blond now growing in grey

You may have to purchase a hair stripper and recolor your hair.....FIRST though, wash your hair with shampoo 5 times consecutively (wash, rinse, wash, rinse, etc). After the fifth wash, condition and leave on for 5 min then rinse and see if that toned it down. If not, purchase a hair color remover (stripper) and recolor your hair with a more tame shade.

Why can't I use liquid color-safe bleach in Kenmore Elite top loading washer?

IF the instructions advise against using bleach in that machine then it is probably because the bleach will affect certain parts / rubbers of the machine and will lead to costly repairs if used.. Try a bleach free soil remover like nappy-san or vanish pink in conjunction with a liquid detergent rather than a powder detergent

Hello! i used the bright yellow prizm during my highlits and they became bright yellow! i tought it would give like a gold tone to the highlights but they were super yellow. so i applied bleach to my hair...

ok honey, first thing is don't freak, you will be ok. the only way to fix this is to go darker. with out a picture I'm going to do my best to help you. See if you can get a friend to help you do this. You will need to put the hi-lites in foils, try to get as much of the blond and as little of the orange as possible in the foil, coat with conditioner, and fold. this will keep them blond as I assume you want to keep them. Between the foils you will need to use a 5 or 6 ash based color, this will neutralize the orange color you have now. Use 10 vol developer or even 5 vol if your hair is in bad shape.leave on about 10 to 15 mins, rinse off a piece to check color progression, when it's a neutral brown you will need to rinse. I wouldn't leave it on more than 30 mins or you could end up ashy.

My clothes stink so bad from my front end LG washer! My co-worker on my first week of work started buying bath and body sprays and body wash leaving it on my desk. I'm so pissed off because my washer was...

My LG stunk too. I did the tub washing with 1 cup bleach and wiping the rim, leaving everything open, nothing worked. I added 2 cups of a 6% bleach and used the tub cleaning cycle, rinsed with an empty hot water cycle then added bleach-able clothes to the 2nd hot water rinse (the third cycle/step). It gets a very strong bleach smell so don't take a whiff if you open the door in the first 2 cycles! After I did the strong bleach cycle, I am able to treat with just the 1 cup bleach about every 3 or 4 weeks and I make sure to wash with a hot water wash every week and a half at the least. This seems to keep my clothes smelling fresh like they should. Before I bought the LG, I read where people turned up the amount of water the washer takes in but I can't find the link that said how to do that. I think it was 1/4 turn on a screw on the top of the machine (when you take the cover off) but I can't guarantee how to do that.

Red t-shirt has run all over the wash. now have pink socks, pink backgrounds etc

did you dry any of this load in the dryer? If you did, the color is set you wont get it out.

If not rewash everything, Except the red t shirt! in the Hottest water the clothing can take. If its whites use a little bleach. you could also use a color safe bleach on colored items. You may want to divide up the load into similar items. Experiment what have you got to loose.

One time we washer a gray sweatshirt with a red sweatshirt, why the gray turned Pink! I dont know we line dried it and washed again, The pink came out.

Good luck
