Hi,

Laptops that have pre-installed Microsoft Office in it usually have 60-day trial version or Microsoft Office starter. The trial version may be a Home edition and has the full features but will ask for a product key after the trial period expires. The MS Office Starter only has limited features for MS Word and Excel only, but this is not a trial version.

If you want to continue using the trial MS Office or want the full functionality of MS Word and MS Excel plus MS powerpoint etc, you need to follow the steps provided to activate or purchase a product key from the application itself. You need to purchase the product key from Microsoft since this program is unfortunately not free.

The Microsoft Office Processional 2010 which came with your laptop was a trail version. It was there for you to use it and check the software and buy it if you like.

The product key at the bottom of the laptop is the key for Microsoft Windows operating system installed in your laptop.

If you want to reinstall MS Office 2007 again, you need the installation disc again. If you dont have one, you can download the installer from Microsoft website. You also need to have a product key to activate the product. If you still have the product key that you have before. Just download the installer from office.microsoft.com and then input the product key to get your Ms Office installed again.
