HI, I purchased my Surado Home Manager 3.0 a few years ago, I had successfully installed it once some years ago on my old system and it worked, but now when I install it and attempt to register my product I get the following error message: File 'c\progam files\surado\surado smart home manger 3.0\exit_chk.scx' does not exist. How do I resolve this problem?

IF YOU ARE TRYING TO INSTALL IT ON A WINDOWS 7 OR A VISTA YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE THE UPDATED SOFTWARE. IF YOUR TRYING TO REGISTER IT IN ON AN XP, THEN YOU NEED TO CALL SURADO AND HAVE THEM RE-REGISTER IT FOR YOU.

Same thing here. Apparently the company is out-of-business. None of their 800/866/877 numbers are working, the program directs to a website that is not active, and the program doesn't allow opening if one is not able to register the program.

Hi. i lost my sound on hp dv 8113 cl few days ago

  • Hi, the best thing to do at this point is perform a "System Restore." Try to remember the exact "Date before the problem occur, or once you start the System Restore, ("pick a date going back more than 5 days"), check the dates and see if any of the dates seem familar. Pick the closest date prior to the "Sound going out!" Type in the "Search Window" from the start menu: system restore; scroll to find, and open. Follow all the instructions carefully for the process to be successful. "Hope it works out for you; if so rating the help will let me know, thanks."

Hi, I have a Panasonic W32D2DP its about 5 years old. It worked fine until about 3 weeks ago. It started cutting off and going to standby. It worked fine after for a few more hours, then would do it...

It's going to be cheaper to buy a new TV. Once you get this problem solved, another one will pop up. The parts for a TV that's 5 years old are not going to be cheap. Most TV repair shops stop carrying parts after 4 years, & the manufacturer stops making them after 7-10 years. With a semi-major purchase like a TV, it's best to purchase an extended warranty. ipmart. com offers a cheap repair manual. You'll be suprised how expensive repair shops can be when it involves "out-of-warranty" work.

L log-in name and password.

According to the Surado website, if you have not entered information into your Surado Smart Home Manager 3.0 program previously, you can simply uninstall and reinstall the software. This will allow you to create new login credentials, however, it will remove any information you entered into the program in the past.

If you have previously entered information into the program, and reinstalling is not a possibility, you must contact Surado Technical Support at their website, http://www.smarthomemanager.com/

I hope this has helped you. Have a good evening, and don't forget to rate this solution! :)

Have lost product key

Hello.

If you have lost the product key to your genuine software, and you have previously registered the software or have a proof of purchase, contact the software manufacturer and they will provide you with a new product key.

Sorry, but as guided by Federal laws, FixYa and it's experts do not provide product keys or serial numbers under any circumstances. Any expert that does so can be barred from answering questions. Those asking could have their membership deleted.

Mad Dog External DVD Writer

I don't know if I can be of any help here, but I purchased my Mad Dog Multimedia MEGASTOR DVD+/-RW burner a few years ago for my PoweSpec with XP Home Edition. I recently bought a new computer installed with Windows Vista Home Premium (which yes, I actually do love) and my external Mad Dog works perfectly, I didn't even have to update any drivers, it recognizes the drive everytime I plug it in (via USB). I don't need it anymore, but it's actually a better burner than the one that came with my system, which I bought new in March, although it's now discontinued. Do you have the disk for it? If so, have you tried running the disk again? What OS and processor do you have? In the event that it might be a matter of obtaining the proper driver for it to work for you, I also am a member of a great and extremely reliable site for free driver downloads. Free membership is limited to a few downloads within a certain period of time, and then you have to wait 24 hours, but other than that there is no limit so that's what I do. Just for the record, there was a period where my old XP was out of commission and I had to resort to my very old HP Pavillion that was about 10 years old, came with Windows 98SE(when that OS was brand new) and all I needed to do to make Win98 recognize the drive was download a driver and it worked just fine. LOL, that has a processor that runs at 600 megahertz, so you can imagine if my Mad Dog worked on systems like that, XP Home and now Vista Home Premium without a hitch, I was quite impressed with their products.

NO DISC message

I assume that problem is dirt on laser lenses. If you don’t get any result after this, than you can replace receiver with new one. If you want to use your existing speakers with new receiver with integrated amplifier, you must pay attention on wattage, to be same like old one (i.e. 100W), and also resistance (i.e. 4 ohm). If it’s same like old receiver, you should have no problem. Good luck.
