Hi,

The only way you can get into the settings on this remote is via the touch screen. The hard keys do not have this functionality.

Remember - to enter the Tools Menu, you have to tap and hold the ProntoPro icon in
the upper left corner of the touch screen for 3 seconds.

If the screen is not responding to this instruction or the reset button there is a potential of a mpre serious hardware failure.

However, first please remove the battery pack and unplug the connector which is circled in red below in the diagram. Leave it unplugged for 5 minutes. Reinsert the battery and see if you can access the settings via the ProntoPro icon as above.

You can then recalibrate the screen by tapping calibrate in the second page settings.

If unplugging the battery fails you should try another reset by depressing the reset button beside the battery pack as you did before. If this fails there is an internal hardware failure that will require service attention.

Thanks for using fixYa. Please do leave a vote for the solution.

How do i callibrate the touch screen on my Iphone 3gs

Capacitive touch panels, like the one on your iPhone, do not allow calibration as they are designed in such a way that it is unnecessary. Make sure that your screen is clear of oils and debris, besides that I would contact Apple to see if another touch panel is needed.

Philips pronto now 5 years old --touch screen has become unresponsive. what to do?

There should be a reset button on the back or under the battery cover. if that doesn't work, then you can try to connect to the computer and reload your program. If you don't have the software you can find it at the phillips website. If you can't find the website email me the model and I'll try to find for you.

Frozen Pronto

Hi

Thankyou for the offer, but I finally fixed it.

I searched high and low on the Internet and finally found a document that led me to believe it was WIFI problem. I reset (switched off and on) the WIFI receiver, and removed/replaced the battery in the remote control and hey presto. it worked and is still working.
