The stove top of my electric KitchenAid Superba is locked. How do I unlock it?

You could try to restart and stop clean cycle. Otherwise unplug stove and remove back panel to access locking mechanism.

I was cleaning my range hood and leaning over I somehow set the lock on the cook top. How do I unlock it?

Unlock Kitchenaide Caren stove top

there should be a key that you have to press and hold to unlock. find it and press till the light is gone let me know how it goes

you have to hold the powerbutton for a few seconds, and the children security lock should come off

Needs to be serviced. The electronics for the igniter section has gone bad.

After a pot spillover, the cleanup process triggered my stove top to "control lock"

I removed the pot and once the stove top cooled I pressed and held the "control lock" button.

It began to blink, I released it and then the light went off and the stove top operated normally.

You might not have to wait for the stove top to cool. I don't know.

Unplug w/in an hour and put it back observe if is lock or unlock.
