Water leaking comming from the bottom/center of front door. The leaking start as soon as the washing phase kicks in. Is there a seal issue? Found a plastic strip (about 1.5 inches wide) along the bottom of the door. It has a very narrow (about 3/8 inch) rubber flap along the inside edge of the strip. I has about a 6 inch section of the the rubber missing from the center of the strip. This is the area where the door leaks. Is this the problem? Frigidaire FDB1250REC2

That gasket is supposed to look like that. Use less soap and/or replace that gasket. It is very easy to do but pay attention to how the old on is placed. There is a small notch that has to be placed right.

SOURCE: Minn Kota Deckhand stripped gears

Hello!
Here is a schematic for your Deckhand:
DH40
The install of the large plastic gear is fairly easy if you are somewhat mechanically inclined (you must be if you posted the question ;)
Give it a go, last one I did took about 20 mins.

Water Inlet Valve

If the dishwasher is leaking water the water inlet valve might be defective. If the water inlet valve sticks open, it will allow water to fill the dishwasher continuously. Some customers report that they see clean water filling the bottom of the dishwasher after it's been sitting all night or for a couple of days. If this happens, turn off the water that is supplying the dishwasher. This is normally a valve under the kitchen sink. Then, replace the water inlet valve, it cannot be repaired. The water valve needs at least 20 lbs pressure to shut off properly. If your water pressure is to low replacing the valve may not solve the problem.

Center Wash Arm Assembly

If the dishwasher is leaking water, the center wash arm assembly might be cracked or split. This can allow a jet of water to spray toward the door seal, causing a leak. If a crack or split in the center wash arm assembly is found, replace it. There isn't any glue that will hold the part together inside the dishwasher.

Lower Wash Arm Assembly

If the dishwasher is leaking water the lower wash arm assembly might be defective. If the lower wash arm has a crack or split on the end, it can force water to spray directly toward the lower part of the dishwasher door. Then, the water can be forced under the door and onto the floor. Check the lower wash arm for any cracks or splits and replace it if necessary. Also make sure the screws are tight in the wash arm support. If the screws are loose, water can spray out the side of the pump and cause a leak.

Upper Wash Arm Assembly

If the upper wash arm assembly is broken or cracked it can cause water to spray very forcefully toward the seams of the door, causing a leak.

Door Seal

Every dishwasher door has a door seal. If the dishwasher is leaking water, it might be that the door seal is defective or worn out. Try closing the dishwasher door on a dollar bill and see if the door seal is making good contact all the way around the door. If not, replace the door seal. If the door seal is good or has been replaced and there is still a leak check the door hinges. If the hinges are bent the door will not close properly and the hinges will need to be replaced.

Water leaking on the front bottom wfs1273bw

What I would do is remove the kick plate at the bottom, usually held on by three or four torque bit screws located underneath, then run the machine. you can check the seal for tears, etc. This way when it starts leaking you'll see where or if its the machine, etc.

Leaking from bottom middle and right side of door

The center spray arm may not be turning straight and level, causing water to spray over the top of the splash shield. The shield needs to be adjusted to block water as it is sprayed from the center arm.

1. Remove the bottom door seal and reinstall, making sure there is not less than 3/8 inch of seal showing below bottom of internal door panel before closing the door.
2. Check tub seal, at the bottom the tub, seal makes a right angle and points to front of tub. In tub bottom there is a block molded in the tub, the tub seal is to fill this block but not extend over.
3. Select the shortest wash cycle or just use a rinse and hold cycle if available. Run the cycle, making sure the water spray changes from bottom to center not less than twice before making any adjustments.
4. If splash over is found, work only one side at a time. Remove black door seal enough to raise the splash shield up off the bottom of the tub not more than 1/8 inch and reinstall door seal properly. Retry and check for leaks.
5. If leak persists, remove door seal again. This time raise shield an additional 1/16 of an inch, then reinstall tub seal. After the first adjustment of 1/8 inch, any other adjustments will be no more than 1/16 inch at a time.
6. After splash over is stopped on one side go to the opposite side if needed.

Leaking water from the front of machine,

Hi

The water level in a front loader should always be below the door line so consequently it should not be possible for water to leak out the door unless there is a problem with the actual door seal itself.

However if you are using too much, or incorrect type of detergent, the washer may be producing too much suds. Too much suds can cause door to leak.
Other causes of a leak which appears to be coming from the front but is on fact coming from elsewhere: Check the water inlet hoses. Check the drain hose. Check the standpipe (upright drain pipe used instead of a sink), or the wash sink connections. These will often be the actual source of a leak. When they leak the water can roll under the washing machine and appear at the front.

Also check this link for a good description of how to troubleshoot leaks happening at various stages during the cycle.

Front loader washer leaks from bottom center of door osmetimes

Check inside the door on the bellows gasket to make sure the inlet area (normally at the 10 o'clock position) is properly positioned around the water inlet, sometimes these work themselves off the inlet nozzle and can casue a leak when the washer is filling up.

Also, carefully run your hand around the bellows gasket to see if you can find any small holes that cold be letting water leak out. You'll need a flashlight to make this easier. It is hardly ever the hinges that causes a leak since the hinges are mounted outside of the door seal gasket (bellows gasket) and aren't ever exposed to the water.

Front door leaking during washing cycle

There are only two ways that water can leak out this way. it can be either the door seal or the door lock mech has become misaligned, causing a slight gap that is letting the water escape through.

I recommend inspecting the door lock mech for its integrity. make sure it is aligned correctly to specs. replace this mechanism if found to be faulty or misaligned. i would also inspect the seal for tiny ruptures as well. the slightest rupture or hole can allow small amounts of water to excape.

Inspect these areas thouroughly.
