I have a Maytag Quiet Series 300 dishwasher that won't start. There is power going to the unit, but the control planner was not function. please help.

I'm having somewhat of the same problem. Only difference is that all the lights will illuminate and so when I select how I want the cycle to run, I go to hit the start button...... and nothing happens. I just may purchase an control panel and roll the dice. Still, it baffles me that everything works but the start button. Does not compute. I'm having somewhat of the same problem. Brace yourself as Maytag Whirlpool will not stand behind their products. I purchased the replacement component and it worked for two weeks, then stopped working. Maytag would not warranty the component, nor did they offer a solution.
I am now the proud owner of a Bosch dishwasher and will never buy a Maytag/Whirlpool/Jenn Air etc. appliance again!
