We have a Ricoh Aficio CL3500N and every time we print the paper jams and we get the "Remove Misfeed A: Internal Path". I remove the jam and when it tries to print again we get the same thing, the paper jams and I remove it and so on. We can not print a single page without it jamming. I have to cancel the print job. What is causing the paper to jam (we use Hammermill Laser paper) and how can I fix it. Thank you Valerie Giles, Syandus Inc.

There may be an obstruction inside the printer. Try this....remove the paper from the paper tray and put paper in the handfeed tray (front of the machine) If it feeds from that tray it means that the feed rollers in the bottom cassette are worn.

My Ricoh GX 3050SFN displays the following error *Warning* Ppr Misfd: Int.Path Remove Paper I removed the jammed paper but the error hasn't cleared. I've power cycled the printer (about a 1000 times!)...

It is possible that the feed clutch got dislodged or stuck. Locate the feed clutch in the printer and check. Also, remove the tray and locate the printer rollers. Clean it with cloth and winder. Rub it dry. Make sure there are no cloth fibers on the roller.

Ricoh Aficio CL3500N printer phantom misfeed
It seems that the sensor is having dust or toner settled upon it. Kindly remove the toner and clean the residual toner. Take a hard stock paper and give one copy command and push it while it tries to pull the paper. Paper misfeed is not the same as paper jam. Paper misfeed refers to the blank paper tray and paper jam refers to paper which has been taken from the tray and now inside the unit.

Ricoh SP c221sf Aficio upper misfeed jam? What's that all about? There is no apparent paper misplaced anywhere in the paper path.
I had the same error. In my case one of the two springs in the paper tray was missing (on the floor behind the printer) so there wasn't enough force to push the paper up to the pickup roller. After I installed the spring the error cleared and printing resumed.

MACHINE DO NOT COPY AND GIVE THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE: (A ZIGZAG SYMBOL) WITH "FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION"
Sounds like the 'Clear misfeed' symbol. Open the front cover and follow the pictorial diagram instructions to check your paper feed path for jammed paper. Remove misfeed, and close covers. This should reset your machine.

Did you take out the toner cartridge and paper trays and open all the covers to try to find the misfeed? If there is really nothing there, you can try turning the printer off and back on to see if it clears itself.

the extra page comes from the page setup..

the jamming comes from odd paper textures, or not 'riffling' the paper before placing it inside the tray

check your user manual for more on both of these issues.

Found solution myself.. The paper sensor arm with flag and sensor was missing from the exit side located on the fuser assembly.. Customer apparently broke off prior to calling for us to repair. Solution-replaced fuser assembly clean and tested works great
