How do I reset my rank arena set top box? And y is it displaying ash on the front and it won't let me do anything?

It looks not as 'ash'. Looks like "ASM" [Automatic Search Memory]. That is, the set is now ready to search for channels automatically. You must have allow it to do so, by pressing right arrow or any other button the remote control. To know about, which button should be pressed to start ASM, refer its user manual. It will have all details. After it started searching, you have to wait for some time, till the search has been over. The time taken will depend on the search speed of the device. After ASM is over, it will display the program that it has got first. Till then, no other commands will go. OK?

How to program RCA RCR3273R

Which make and model device do you want to program the remote to control? Make sure that your device is on. Keep the remote pointed towards the IR sensor on the component. Check that your device is older than your remote by at least 6 months. (It takes that long for the code to be included in the remote programming.) Note: if you go more than 2 minutes without pressing a key on the remote, the remote's indicator will blink four times and exit the programming mode. (It will also do this if all of the codes have been tested during a programming search.)

There are a few ways to program the RCA RCR3273R. For all methods, press and hold the device button for the component that you want to control. Then press the Power button on the remote. Release both keys after the device LED lights (and stays on). To do an automatic search, press Play and then wait 5 seconds. If your device doesn't turn off, press Play again. Repeat this every 5 until the device turns off. Once the component is off, press Reverse and wait 2 seconds. If your device doesn't turn on, press Reverse and wait 2 seconds. Repeat until your device turns back on, press Stop. The remote is now programmed with a potentially good code. Test all of the remote buttons that should work with your component. If the code doesn't work for all features, repeat the search but continue to press Play and wait 5 seconds after the device turns off the first time. Repeat as needed until you have a good code.

You can also try a brand search. After getting the device LED to light, enter the brand's numerical code from the list (see below) and then press Power and wait 2 seconds. If the device doesn't turn off, press Power again. If the component turns off, press Stop. Test if the remote works for all features of the device. Repeat and go past this code if the remote doesn't control of features of your component.

Alternatively, you could type in all 5 digits (see the code list) for that component after lighting the LED to enter the programming mode.

The complete manual, code list and programming guide are available here: http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12597 . RCA also has the manuals and code list here: http://www.rcaaudiovideo.com/search/?sku=RCR3273R . See the Support/Manuals tab.

I hope this helps.

How do I program a dvd code into my crk76ta1 remote and what are the codes to a toshiba dvd

Hi, i have found the codes and instructions.

Toshiba Codes - 2015.2049, 2051,2055, 2065, 2093, 2116

I. Turn on the component to be programmed.

2. Press and hold the button on the remote you want to program.

3. Enter the code from the code list.

4 Release button, and then press ONeOFF to see if the component responds to the remote commands. If it doesn't, try pressing the component button and then ONeOFF again.

5. If you get no response, repeat these steps using the next code listed for your brand, until the component responds to the remote commands.

If none of the codes work then try a code search. Instructions below.

The following instructions can be used to program the remote to control each of the devices connected to your TV. If you want to exit the automatic code search without programming any of your devices, press and hold CLEAR until the LED turns off.
I. Turn on the device you want to control (VCR, SAT, etc.)

2. Press and hold the button you want to program (VCRI, VCR2, etc.) While hold'Ing the device button, press and hold ONeOFF until the red light on the remote turns on, then release both buttons.

3. Press and release PLAY, then wait 5 seconds or until the LED stops flashing. At this point the remote is searching for the correct code to program. If, after 5 seconds, the device you want to control does
not turn off, press PLAY again to tell the remote to search the next
set of codes. Continue pressing PLAY until the device turns off or you have searched through all of the codes. There are 20 total sets of codes. If the device does not turn off after pressing PLAY 20 times, then the remote cannot control that particular device. If the device you want to control does turn off:

I . Press and release REVERSE, then wait 2 seconds. Repeat this step until the device turns back ON.
2. To finish, press and hold STOP until the red light on the remote turns off.

Im using the rca rcr312w universal remote control. i need the code to program a durabrand dvd-1002 dvd player. thanks

  1. These instructions come from the RCA website. The crucial step is to keep pressing the reverse button.
  2. Turn on the component (the tv, dvd, etc).
  3. Hold the TV (or DVD) button and the on/off button at the same time. It will stay lit.
  4. Press the play button every five seconds until the component turns off.
    • Each time the Play button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks ten times and a block of 10 codes is sent to your component. This process continues until all the codes in the Code Lists have been searched. If the component has not turned off after all codes have been searched, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks four times, turns off, and the Auto Code Search Entry method is exited.
  5. When the component turns off, press and release the REVERSE button, then wait two seconds to see if the component turns on again.
  6. If the component does not respond, continue to press the REVERSE button EVERY TWO SECONDS UNTIL THE COMPONENT TURNS ON again. This will isolate the correct code in the last block of codes sent. Each time the REVERSE button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks.
    • If the REVERSE button is accidentally pressed after the component responds, press and release the FORWARD button. Wait two seconds to see if the component turns off again.
  7. To save the new code, press and release the STOP button.
  8. The illuminated ON-OFF button turns off. You must press the STOP button to save the code.
