Enter service mode( * 28 * >copier>option>PO_cont> off> ok) and make copies if erroir code does not display, replace potential sensor.check dc controller.

Does the pre-exposure lamp turn on during copying operation?


Check the wiring from the DC driver PCB to the pre-exposure lamp; if normal, replace the pre-exposure lamp.

Minolta ep4000 error code c0400

C0400 -Exposure lamp failure to turn ON
C0410 -Exposure lamp turning on at abnormal timing
Turn OFF the copier,remove the glass,Work a screwdriver trough the hole in the frame at the left front side of the copier and remove the screw that secures the scanner unit.Move the scanner to rhe right hand side of the copier.Remove 3 screws to free the scanner.(To remove the scanner turn it counterclockwise).Remove 1 screw and the wire guide,remove 1 screw and the ground wire.Unplug the exposure lamp terminal connector,unplug the thermal fuse connector.Remove the scanner from the copier.Verify the continuity of the exposure lamp and thermal fuser.If is defective change.

My minolta cps 500o prints all black pages...what is the problem?

Hi check that the exposure lamp is coming on place a sheet on the glass press start and see if the exposure lamp comes on and stays on as it copies if it does not come on then you need to check the lamp and the scanner cable for the lamp
if this dose not resolve your issue check the main charge on the drum check the corona wires are intact

Hi you will need to check the exposure lamp LA1 to see if it coming on if it is then the issue is going to be the AE sensor board PWB-H

Minolta 5000 Error code COF10

this is an issue with ae sensor board pwbh board what you will need to do is check the voltage across pwb-a pj3a-3 and ground dc0.18v or less when the scanner is at the home position the exposure lamp is off and the original cover is lowered

the code 803is for faulty exposure lamp or fault in composite power supply(the power supply to exposure lamp is not sufficiant to operate the lamp).to remove exposure lamp, remove copyboard glass,remove back cover ,slide scanner in the line of rear exahaust fan at the right side of scanner, remove rear exahaust fan, remove lamp holder(one screw).slide out lamp on the rear side replace new one and reverse the whole process.
